I suppose that could be true, but if its an unlock combat challenges thing that is self contained and reqs quests for the bosses I can't see it taking all that long to fully unlock. I mean if its framed around quest bosses the worst we got is Nomad and i highly doubt he'd be in there (too much of a person opposed to a monster); even if we have fight cave like endurance waves we know most of the monsters so for a torva, rapier, overlord, turmoil person could it really take long to suss out?

Nomad won the Guaranteed Content Poll by a pretty wide margin, so I can't imagine him getting left out.

 

Total forgot them 5 polls, so that suggests:

sounds like a reasonably nice spread of bosses.

Jagex should really just make a room with like some combination of Nex, Jad, Corp and KQ for all those pro MH'ers out there. By some combination, I meant at least 2 of them at once.

Dominion Tower = Golden Saucer Battle Arena

Skimming the dev art more I get a feeling Diminion tower is gonna have an attached quest.

Just the talking door thing makes me feel like we might speak to a random npc who tells us about the tower then we go there and explore and our adventuring prescence awakesn the weakened tower and we help restore it. Then the original guy shows up as some weak boss we kill the tower "eats" him and tells us we can now fighting him again and then offers to meld our experiences into its hall and quest finish with it becoming tuned to us and thus absorbing loads of bosses etc we have slayed before.

 

Just a hunch and probably utterly wrong but ya never know; I definitely think the dominion bosses will be special forms of them thou sort of like a spirit version or something.

they will never stop doing quests, the entire game development is geared around quests and lore.

And we have heaps of quest lines unresolved including two very recent very popular quests that set up very obvious sequels (espcially as jmods confirmed the robert stuff from rotm is for the sequel)

Well, it's just that we've had 2 very weak years for quests most older years had at least 1 quest/month, some even 2-3, now we are hardly getting one every month.

There used to be 2 quests a month.. Than there only came 1 quest, but apparently the quality would be like "wgs" for most quests..

 

And now there's not even 1 quest. Maybe 1 every other month? - Really the old quests weren't 4 times as bad as the new ones.. The quality didn't rise proportional with the reduction in number.

The fact of the matter is, the game is evolving, and because of this the type of content being put out is changing from low level content to high level content. Do you want to go back to two experienced or novice rating quests a month instead of getting master quests and the occasional grandmaster?

Yes if they bring some story.. The whole underground pass, mep series were more difficult -at that time- than grandmaster quests. And desert treasure was certainly more gamebreaking than any quest I've seen since. And what to think about ghost ahoy, that was innovative at the time (opened up alternative methods for prayer training). Really slapping numbers on monsters is just an easy thing, and they could easily change desert treasure to be more difficult than rom.

Pleeeeease let this mean we can zoom in an out with the camera! If this is true, this month is full of things I've wanted for a long time! Better camera controls, chat that doesn't cut off (assuming that's what they meant by "auto wrapping text") and the ability to fight quest bosses over again! It's like a dream come true!

Quests are necessary for propagation of the storyline. Certain storylines - eg. Elves, Lucien, Dwarves, Myreque, Void, Gnomes... the list goes on can no longer be resolved by simpler "fetch" quests. Even things like Elemental Workshop'll probably require more planning than before.
