Hey all you skiers and Boarders, this is the place to chat it up. What did you think of TJ Schiller's switch 1440? Or the up coming xgames? I wont be able to watch because its not be broadcasted in Canada

Edit: I will be able to watch the games, its on ABC tomorrow from 12 to 4 :)

Also, post your setups if you want.

I've been wanting to go snowboarding and falling on my butt for the longest time. A bunch of people went snowboarding last week (not sure why?). Hoping to try sometime this year! :D

I have been skiing for a while, but i live in Ohio :? . No good slopes here, and the hills we have here are sooo boring now. There isn't exactly any good ramps or anything like that, only thing i can do is a 180. Bah, i wish i lived somewhere where skiing is good.

Anyone know if there is anygood skiing around Boston???

Depends on how far you want to drive, I mean compared to the west there is really no good skiing in the east. I would recommend Vermont because it has the best snow in the east. But I am not sure if there is anything close to Boston.

Its insane here right now, its been snowing since 10 in the morning. I am so looking forward to going skiiing tomorrow

I snowboard (just got back actually). There's really good snow here in the Sierras, just keeps coming. I'm not really into the tricks in the park, but powder riding and backcountry jumps are a lot of fun. I just go up after school a lot, it's pretty nice.

Fresh powdaaa, thats what it's all about for me. Nothing beats slipping through that snow just cruising through the trees with snow flying in your face. Too poor right now to buy tickets now though, time to sell some body parts.

Lol all you americans are so lucky.. If we want "backcountry" or even decent powder we need to sneak onto closed trails...

I snowboard, and this year 'll be my sixth.

I live in Ottawa, Canada so we have pretty good hills near by. We've got Mont Tremblant which is 2 hours away, and every year my school has a trip to vermont, which I intend to join in on next year.

As for my setup, I've got a K2 access(153cm), some extra large ride camo bindings, and some random crap size 12 boots(they're firefly).

As well, I'm heading out to Mont Pakenham tomorrow morning at 9, it'll be my first time out this year, which is sad.
