the problem is taht all the noobs that are just starting out want all the big good looking stuff thats worth alot and they want it eore they are even ready. just like anyone is with anything, its quite difficult to be patient. if there was a big area in runescape theat required a simple 80 combat to enter that provided alot of the baic needs such as cooking, smithing etc... we could have somewhere to relax, although these days i see that alot of lvl 80 can be right noobs, the other day i had to explain to a lvl 115 how smite works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't think that's an answer either... I always cut magics in Isafdar by Lletya - never a noob there - but does not mean you don't find people to aggrivate you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When Bflat0 first left the welcoming center - as I like to call it - went right to work killing chickens, cows and mining... was F2P back then. Not very knowledgeable and wearing bronze... within those first few hours added two friends - who were a few CB levels higher - while mining tin and copper. Those two so-called friends asked me to follow them into the wild to pick bones - 1st wild experience and really quite dangerous at my level in that high of wild - They proceded to pounce on me - to kill me of course - had a few pieces of food and ran south... luckily for me as they chased me down a mage showed up and blasted one to lumby, the other stopped chasing me and fled.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I personally had never begged for anything... had asked many people questions on what I was doing. Had been given a thing or two from time to time by friends, never asked for a thing rather than friendship though. Early on though I learned really there are few people you can trust... especially the younger ones. The bulk of people seem to think the game is more about what you have rather than who you are.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I prefer to just ask these people if they want a job... have them collect cowhide, feathers, limpwort or mine. heck I'd buy them a pick or an axe and front them a few k... even give them a somewhat decent item for thier level. Most end up a pain at first because they have so many questions - eventually they catch on and cut thier own apron strings.

wine of zamorak is usually more funny though, i once closed the doors on this lvl 45 guy that wouldnt stop begging for a good five minutes till he died. man, the guy cussed me out for everything thats bad and ugly in this world in those 5 minutes. it was so funny....

I find Wine of Zamorak to be more efficient than dark wizard circle. Tell them you pay them 10k if they get it for you (although you shoud say 10,000gp as most dont know what a K is). Watch the pretty red splashes with numbers in them, keep closing the door if they try to run, and they'll be dead in 20 seconds. (less if they dont try to run.)

Unlike the noob that follows u begging and willing to do nothing, that one you killed really wanted to *work* for you, but you decieved him and slain him. That's ugly and not fair.

 

 

 

I have no objection to leed the worst baggers to the wizard circle - most times they dont die, just take some damege and learn a lesson. But if he grees to work for you, that should be encouraged, not punished!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for me - I was a weak noobish character also, but i never begged. I worked hard - from goblins to al-kharid guards, dwarves and skeletons, I died several times and lost my stuff. The worst time was when I was training on skeletons and cooking rats for food in Varrok sewers, than one scum tempted me to follow him, saying that nearby there is a spawm of soom good food - if I'll just ran past the lv24 zombies and skeletons. In other words - he lad me to the red spiders just for fun (And I wasnt begging or everthing!). Antway - I started over and over.

 

 

 

So, the begging isn't because someone is weak - but generaly beacuse he is lazy and greedy. In a couple of times, i saw even lv 50+ begging!

 

 

 

When beggers follow me, I usualy offers them to do somthing (Work for me, or just general good advices fitting their level). or I simply ignore them. If he asks for somthing small, like cutting a gem, enchanting a ring etc, I have no problem to do it for free. I start thinking of somthing crueler just if he keeps following me, or start to threat or use ugly words - or if he tries to scam me. then dark wizards are fine...

I find there are much better things to do to noobs then kill them. I myself usually ask them to mine me iron or coal and i pay dirt cheap for them like 40 for iron and 100 for coal... so noobs can really help you make some good money =). But if some guy comes up and starts begging the fastest way to make them leave is go about ur buisness like their not there... For me they stay a minute at most. Some people say give them alittle something... but what ive found is once u give them one thing, they want it again and more then next time and time afters.

The point is that beggers beg for the fun of it. They deserve to die. I always give them a chance and say no i havnt got anything to give. If they keep persisting its bug abuse i could report them of i could take them to the dark wizards. As i told you one of the beggers lvl 27 dropped full addy. this works every time. if you want to get rid of beggars, all you have to do is start asking them questions.

i showed a few of them exactly how to get them and i pay a fair price to them atleast 75% of the value if they had 1000 to sell but normally they get me 200 or so at a time so they can get some quick money

This is what I often do. If not this then I tell the p2p guys to give the world 66 Law Co. a try, I craft there often and many times spell out the process and give them ess to start. They only can bug you if you let them. turn up your music drown everything out concentrate on your task and the music and its like having chat off. This is what I do most times when I get f2p for a couple days after every month. Rather fun can't hardly wait for 28 days :lol:

Your ignore list doesn't have to be full all the time, switch your private messages to friends, add peeps that bug you to your ignore list after telling them that they are going on that list and clear out your ignore list daily.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most of the time telling them you put them on your ignore list and then ignoring them will stop them after one last remark. No need to actually add them unless you are tricked into replying easilly :)
