karnsy81
Would it be worth starting mine? With my stats as shown in my signature.
Urza285
As long as you can do it then its worth it. Ports is much like some of the other D&Ds in that its best you visit occasionally if you plan on dedicating yourself to getting its rewards later. That way even though you don't completely spend all your time on it you at least got yourself a nice foothold. In the area. SwreeTak
I would say yes. Even with just a few adventures it is worth it, since you can always get new adventurers later on. And the rewards in the end are awesome. Good luck with your port! Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
Caco`
I think the port is pretty fun, one more activity to do while playing. WILDERLAND FROM 2006-2014 RIPThe dark one will take your soulMINING GOLDS MEMBER SINCE 2013
PolarBearBlue
Of course. It's very enjoyable even if just acting mostly through an interface. And while the rewards are long term, they appear certainly worth it. It will at first seem like there isn't enough ports to do if you end up liking it, but now I'm finding that I don't have enough time to port. With that said, if the idea of new armor, food, or aura like help items seem interesting (or if you like fictional stories) I would suggest doing it. And as always, you can visit the HYT friend chat (Serpents Eye) and we'll try to answer any port questions you got. karnsy81
Thanks for the advice. I heard that you can't really make good use of the rewards unless you have like 90+ in a bunch of skills.
sponske
You need 90rc/smith/craft to make the armour. But you should start pop to advance into the regions, get ship upgrades/crew upgrades/scrolls/resources.So when you reach 90 in one of those skills, you have everything ready to make some armour. Conclusion: it wont be so profitable for you atm, but it will pay off later. (And its loads of fun!)
WildxYak
I only have 90 fishing and have started. I very slowly getting used to how it all works but, like Urza said, getting a foothold in for when I can start more seriously and with more 90+s. 99: Agility 28/12/14|Thieving 20/03/

Mylez
I would. Personally I LOVE Ports, it's such a good way to keep the game exiting and fresh when you're nolifing skills (such as DG -_-). Good luck!
Cerri
It's absolutely worth it, even if you don't have the skills now. Just keep plugging away at it, and before you know it, you'll have the skills AND the materials to make some pretty awesome gear and items. I keep telling myself how good that Tetsu plate is gonna look while I'm slogging away on my smith levels... ... one can dream, right? ... See my blog!
