With greys, from 80-82 range, I was getting 276.8k xp/hr and about 165xp/chin

With blacks, from 82-84 range, I was getting about 386.9k xp/hr and about 237xp/chin

With blacks, from 84-85 range, I was getting about 396.2k xp/hr and about 247xp/chin

 

Tried chinning at the new Ape Atoll room from Western Provinces diary but it sucks because the monkeys stop following you after you're only a few spaces away from them so they're impossible to round up. Plus they don't have much HP. Better suited for single-target training.

 

 

 

Does anybody know of a reliable way to reset the skeleton aggression? XP rates sort of plummet once their aggression wears off.

When I did it on rs3, pre eoc, I just ran down and back from the spot I used.

That's what I do, but it seems like the way aggression works is that once you run a certain distance to reset aggression, you have to run even further each subsequent time you try to reset it. So by the 2nd or 3rd time I have to reset aggression it just ends up making things worse

From what I remember of chinning in like 2011, the aggression distance is the same.

 

100m in each melee. Dropped off def front page though because everyone camps nmz on def only. I should be back on it soon though.

 

As far as I'm concerned, black chins are a waste of money and really inefficient since they kill the skeletons too fast. They don't respawn from their bones fast enough so you're rarely hitting 10 skeletons at a time, whereas you're almost always hitting 10 at a time with greys (yes, all chin types hit 10 targets max)

 

At the very end of my trip someone walked through the skeletons and pulled them all off me. I hadn't bothered resetting aggression till then so it wasn't too big a deal. I just followed him till they all turned on me and got back to work. Cost me about 10k xp/hr tho.

 

Black chins 84-85 range:

396.2k xp/hr

247xp/chin

7gp/xp

 

Grey chins 85-87 range:

311.7k xp/hr

181xp/chin

4gp/xp

 

Might try reds but greys felt like the perfect balance since there weren't very many burning bones and they were constantly respawning.

I tried that a long time ago and nothing happened :\

 

But I noticed that there's a bone spawn near the spot I've been using. So I've been standing closer to it now so I get a free bonus skeleton every 30 seconds or so :D

Got this clue a couple weeks ago, gave up when it required items I didn't have enough money to buy, decided to finally do it so I killed a couple cows for the money

 

 

Also when I went to G.E. to sell the loot I got from cows, Easter Eggs started randomly spawning. Got 5 of them, sold them for 40k.

Had pretty much nothing and was rebuilding so this was a nice shortcut.

 

Enough wheat from one clue to get geared up

 

 

Probably replace rune full helm with berserker helm when I have a little bit more wheat.

I'm not sure, could be. I was talking about my personal set I use at nmz though. It's 100 xp per repair I think, regardless of percentage. So I repaired it around 430 times.

Weird, I was under the impression that they weren't there, or at least reselling reset them, but maybe not. And I guess broken components/fixed components would count as different items anyway.

If by trickshotting you mean two zulrahs at once then that died when they made it 4 phases and req 2 styles, only pic I have:

 

 

it was honestly not hard if you think about it, no gear switching and only 2 possible paths to pick from. The coolest thing I can do now is do abyss rc while doing zulrah at the cost of 5+ kills per hour, so not even worth it
