We were tipped off that something was amiss, when we saw his name suddenly change and he quit the clan, so we managed to contact him through our group forum and let him know that his account had been compromised. At the time, he had no PIN or JAG on his account. It took a few weeks for him to get his account back, but he said that during that meantime, the Jagex Support team was very helpful and he was grateful for their effort. Whomever had acquired his account raised several levels and banked some 350M in cash at the same time ... :lol: I swear plays are getting some of the nicest hackers these days...When I came back 2 years ago I was completely cleaned, minus my gems, a black battleaxe, and an addy scimitar. I had to sell all my diamond the buy rune armor and a rune battleaxe. Then I went back to FoG so I could buy my zeker shield back. Even if you don't manage to get it back, you have at least done your best.In my and my friend's experince Jagex actually have quite a good recovery system. I have managed to recover my account with the account recovery system myself, so I know what I am talking about. I have always lost stuff though. Going from 40M to 800+M is certainly quite 'lucky', if I may use that word in this situation. Finally; Great to see someone bringing up some positive stuff about Jagex on here. They certainly deserve critizism for things they do. But it's always good to tell them when they do good stuff too. What does your adventure log say? Does it give any clues or could that have been wiped when you got your account back?Adventure logs has 78-86 mining being done around Christmas and that was it. Have you tried right-clicking the Grand Exchange clerk to see the G.E. history and see anything that could have been sold or bought?Just looked nothing more than a few odds and ends being sold. Whoever purchased your account most likely bought the gold as well. I'm just going to assume he bought 1b and spent a bit on the buyables, I don't expect to find much more inside the bank.
