The dragon chain would be less expensive, but yeh many people go offa street prices rather than the actual price. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. But even though rune legs sell to shop for less then obby cape when U die u keep the legs instead of the cape. NOTE this is the only case in which shop value and protect value dont coincidence that i know of. And yes I have learned this by dying with it myself and killing other ppl with it. I don't look too much into general store prices... but is the Dragon Skirt the same price as the plate legs? Or cheaper? You would think the skirt is just a tad cheaper, but thats just me I guess. Some people just focus more on the street value of items, rather then the general store values. Whether your noob little mind likes it or not... General store prices are extremely important to anyone who decides to go out pking. I for one would at least like to know what I lose if I'm carrying more then three items when I die. Then again... morons like you probably don't have to worry about that since you're probably some lame 3 itemer. So yeah... see yourself out of the conversation. And it really should be avoided, because... 1) It gets threads locked. 2) You give a bad impression of yourself. 3) Its simply not nice. On the third one, if you really don't have anything nice to say, just ignore the thread, and don't bash people for posting. There is really no need to tell someone their thread/post sucks. There is really no need to insult someone. Try to live by the golden rule, and your life will be richer. This is a good thread. Not everyone knows that dragon chain will drop if you die while you're carrying barrows or other dragon items. That's the only case you know of because that's a mistake. It's not true. Rune legs high alch for MORE than obsidian cape, therefore when you die, you will protect legs over cape. Same with skirt (which has same price as legs... why the heck would it be less to shop?) It's easy to forget that just because an item SELLS for more, doesn't mean that it's "worth" more, even though d legs are far easier to get than the d chain is (well, unless you consider dust devils).
