October 24, 201312 yr So apparently dozens of servers have been having server issues, huge lag spikes, people being unable to log in (from lobby), and all sorts of issues. Other servers have crashed, been down for hours and so on. OSRS has also been affected. Lots of people have died and lost very valuable stuff. As usual, there has been no announcement from Jagex that I can find (though one Mod was nice enough to sticky a player-made thread). Thread on RSOF discussing this. You have all been warned. Discuss.

I tested it out myself (on a worthless item). Apparently if you select 'take all', you might be able to avoid this bug. People were also able to trade untradeable items yesterday (notably Bunny Ears and Scythes). Looks like an all-around cluster[bleep].

October 24, 201312 yr Some how I doubt anything acquired via the tradable untradeable glitch will stick after Jagex sorts the issues out. I mean they do track all trades, if it hasn't automatically flagged them then it's not gonna be all that hard to check for untradeable that have gone through trades and revoke them.Especially since you can double check them against other account variables. Eg holiday complete variable not ticked = shouldn't have the item.Low dg and no adventurer log of buying = shouldn't have high dg stuff.Low number of cwars games played = shouldn't have profound. October 25, 201312 yr Yeah, I haven't been able to log in from lobby since the sirenic armour update. Hopefully they'll fix this :) Try re-setting your graphics to minimum and then log in. You can reset graphics back to "normal" settings after that.

October 25, 201312 yr Jagex said lowering your graphics settings should help, at least that's what I was told. I mostly play on minimum and am @ 50 FPS with only little bits of lag at times. Like I said, as soon as Ellysian and I hopped to world 2, we stopped DCing. ...And I can't remember the last time I lowered my graphics settings to improve my connection. =/. Next time my internet slows down I'll have to try re-installing my graphics drivers. :P.

Please note that MY response wasn't to Yoko. MY RESPONSE was made to Scherzo -- who said he hasn't been able to get past the lobby since they updated. It's been suggested by Jagex that the way past THAT ISSUE (i.e. being stuck in the lobby) is to alter your graphics settings to minimum and log in from the lobby into the game. Thanks for paying attention. It's appreciated so much! :rolleyes:
