Myweponsg00d
Umm...right. Actually, Runescape is much shorter than other online RPG's. Technically, I guess Zezima has beaten Runescape. In othe online games, it's basically impossible to beat. Need assistance in any of these skills? d3nic
Well, there are lots of online games now. I think RuneScape is one of the best, its the only one i haven't got bored of yet! After 4 years of playing! Were as, when i played WoW, i only had it for 2 months and i got bored of it! It just goes to show, RuneScape is not too repetitive. - d3nic -

The_Jeppoz
Runescape isn't the best online game by far. It realy can't match last generation titles both for graphics and game experience (world dimension, items, quests...blablabla). Still if we consider the platforms RS is capable of running on, you see the key to its success. For something powered by JRE it's simply great. Nothing like this is around and available with the same hardware requirements. Plus the cost per month is less than half of what you spend on Wow for example, that's another good point for Jaggy. Yeah, EQ2 is 15 bucks a month! But...wait....you get to play 6 characters. This actually works out to be LESS than runescape. (Less than 3 bucks per character per month) Or, if you buy a station pass, you get 9 characters and acess to each of their online games Need assistance in any of these skills? fearspudgod
^^ good point, with wow your 20 bucks a month gets you unlimited amounts of players. While as runescape 5 bucks only gets you one. http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/975/70961xn8.jpg[/img]Playing WoW

Or when you get a seven year old on your team who constantly screams down the microphone. every game ive started, 70% of the time someone quits. and me, when my friend let me play at his house with his mic, i just left it on, i wanted to piss my team off, i even got split up from my friend who i was in a pary with...and i eve said to my own team mates im gonna kill them and not my friend cuz we got split up, its so funny. its a really good game and people make such funny arguments on their, like the other day this guy sounded like the "mobster" off bugs bunny cartoons, if you know which im talkin about he says stuff that sounds like "myeah see, mugsy myeah" and it was so funny to listen to all these people

captianant
I personally love Runescape in the fact of that you always interact with other players and it's very user-friendly. For example: in Guild Wars, when you enter a combat area (place where you can fight things) you have to completely re-load the map (takes like 5 mins) and then, its only you and your party out there! Just my spin on things, and yes, i used to play guildwars but everything was just too confusing  Sodb ForumStop thinking. It's Runescape. DiLord
I definatly think RuneScape is one of the best MMORPG's out there. Even though it has sim-low graphics, which has to do because of the engine it runs on, it's still the best game for the engine it runs on. Something about this game just won't let me leave. I've tried other games, but I just can't. It's easy controls, easy chat feature, it probably doesn't help that I've been playing for 4 and a half years(not on the same character). I've seen this game evolve, it's regularly updated, the works. The only problem I see with it is the costomer support, and the community. But that's understandable because it is the best Java game out there, and Jagex didn't expect to see this game get so big. So, I believe it's the best MMORPG out there and I don't expect to leave any time soon.

Craven_Image
I can still see it improving, it's mostly addictive and I suppose that's a good sign for a game if people can't stop playing it. Umm...right. Actually, Runescape is much shorter than other online RPG's. Technically, I guess Zezima has beaten Runescape. In othe online games, it's basically impossible to beat. I don't base how good a game is on how easy it is to complete it but I suppose it is taken into account. The game could be made much harder without much hastle but it wouldn't really make it a better game. 99 Magic, 99 Defence, 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 99 Hitpoints, 99 Fletching, 99 Woodcutting, 99 Firemaking, 99 Thieving, 99 Ranged, 99 Prayer, 99 Cooking, 99 Fishing
Zou_Lou
Probably not the best MMORPG ever, but the only one I have ever tried because my old pc can't take any other top rated games... I was hooked right away and paid for membership as soon as my bank get filled up, lol! I don't interact very much with other players except for trading but since I have reached a decent combat lvl I'm thinking to join some clan. I have met a few nice mates though and I do enjoy chatting with them while doing some dull training. A few things I appreciate above all: it's unexpensive, there is no installation, I can play from any remote computer, even with a [cabbage]ty dial up connection, and there is always something to be busy with. Constant updating is also a very good point. Congratz to Andrew and co! Retired from RuinedScape 12/15/07. Now playing a Tauren Shaman on World of Warcraft.Server: Ravencrest.Username: Zulu. Lighs
A lot of people say "You play Runescape? WoW is sooo much better!" However, the majority of those people have never actually played RS. It's the kind of game that's pretty boring when you're new, but as you get used to it it becomes much better than most other MMORPGs. The problem is that it takes a long time to reach that level, so new players get turned off before they can appreciate RS's potential. There's also a lot of misinformation out about RS- one person told me that "all of the quests are like gathering three random items," which isn't it at all. moopymitchell182
Thats because they have actual graphics engines :P personally , i dont think rs is the best online game ever , but its the one i play I love your new sig. :) (I think it's new...) The 'best' game online is just a matter of opinion, it's not really something to debate. Personally, I like RuneScape because it runs fast (even on my old Windows 98), and it's incredibly simple, which means a lot to me. I hate all the new improved graphics like on World of Warcraft. Plain and simple does it for me. :)
