They did all that promoting the game, even going as far as advertising the game on sites like Miniclip... Surely they should have known that the CS querys were gonna be coming in by the masses. Launching the Knowledge base with RS2 would have made a lot more sense. This is coming far too late to seem like a move to cut down on customer support querys. And this is all coming off the announcement by Craven (I think it was) when Jagex visited his college and said they were hiring more customer support staff. Either I'm really good at knowing the exact place of all the traps or Jagex used my map as a reference for their own because the similarities are uncanny! Also you people posting " The jagex map of "wat ever" is identicle to tip its "wat ever" map!!! Jagex = theives. Thats just crap...what the hell do you want their maps to look like?? You would all moan if the maps looked totaly useless....corse they are going to be simlar!! They are maps of the same place. DUH! Also on the topic of maps...i think jagex's new maps are stunning. I just think they are trying to provide the playerbase with basic general knowledge that people are curious about and could only find on outside sources. I don't think they'll ever disclose all the info fansites do. Yea of course maps are going to be similar I just thought it was pretty remarkable that the rogues den map is almost completely identical as far as the trap position. Guess I was just braggin about my own skills sowwy, didn't mean it to sound like I was whining. I wasn't saying they were stealing anything, after all they are maps of Runescape which Jagex owns... As far as their maps looking better I have to strongly disagree, I think they look like poo. The detail is lacking and the maps are barely discernible. They look like way over head shots of high detail with some crazy ugly bevel filter. Just my opinion though. I like the style (the overhead view) i think it looks 'cool'. If they changed the image format and made the images more 'crisp' and more clear then they would be almost perfect. All they need to do is research their own product. Quit making stupid excuses for them. This does look like a great database. But there are simply too many stupid people out there for it to work.
