Alright, I'm as mad at this as most people, but we shouldn't just make more forums to smuggle in sigs. Supposedly Jagex developed something that can track when people are giving others huge amounts of money for nothing, and making a seperate forum really shouldn't help. I think that we should come up with some sort of petition and get people from different forums to "sign" it and send it to the R.S. crew. They need to know that what they are doing is actually decreasing the people that want to play. I mean, I know there are a bunch of people that barely come on if not to sell sigs, and sometimes saving up for a while can be really boring, and sig making only helps out.

 

 

 

I don't know, maybe Jagex will be able to be reasoned with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Till then, I'm not going to stop making sigs. I had a request for a sig that I'd be getting 1-2mill for, but I'm going to finish it and give it to the person who requested it for free. Why should no payment ruin the mind of all these artists?

If it comes right down to it, Jagex really wants us to obtain status in runescape through soul-crushingly boring activities.

Everyone else has probably noticed already, but the media market has been closed down, which is total bull crap..I mean really, i cant see any reason what so ever why this new rule is in place, and most of all why they would let us set up the shop for this long and then sudinly cut us off, its so screwd up, Id really like to know though, why exacly it isnt aloud anymore.. because i just dont understand, has it got somthing to do with the runescape econemy? For instance this way people can make money without training skills or somthing like that?:S And really we should just keep doing it, like terley said they cant ban everyone who sells sigs

Whilst, they can't ban EVERYONE, they can ban the more "important" figures to scare us(high level members for instance), just like with the names... or the report function scared (and i emphasise) a few players to stop breaking the rules.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jagex does this because they even stated, they want you to make the money using your skills, being popular outside of runescape should have nothing to do with you getting cash.

a new forum with new different names, don't use RS name and the same name in here (duh?) Never show your RS name and use only PM for contact detail...the chance of getting caught is slim, unless one of the people have nothing to do infiltrate the comunity and get people's RSN. but of coruse, N00b accounts can solve this problem...heh heh heh....

Talent can still shine as long as we embrace new players artwork, and actually critique them instead of flaming the artist. As long as we have the media discussion, I guarantee you, we will get new talent (or just bums without any skills).

I'm sure we will, hopefully. What I was mostly refering to is a lot of realy talented people from here started by just selling sigs to make money, and it grew to much more than that.
