Whenever I logged onto the internet, my IE will always stay at Media Market's main page and nothing else. And now Media Market is locked, the feeling is just like I could enter my home but everything that I wanna do/use was locked by a lock which I don't have the key to unlock it. It's ridiculous that people earn over 10's of millions because they have a special talent that has got nothing to do with the game, while others which don't have that talent have to work for weeks to get a certain amount of cash. If a signature would be sold for lets say 50 to 100 k it wouldn't be that much of a problem, but I recently saw a signature got sold for 13 million! Now come on, that isn't normal anymore. But unfortunuatly you can't stop it. Banning signatures from the forum would be a good start though, but then you'll probably lose a lot of forumers and it's also negative for the not-so-money-hungry-artists on this forum. Well then they shouldn't complain, if it's their hobby they might as well do it for free instead of doing it for 13 mill, it's all about fun and developing skills, right. You know what I wonder? What a signature maker here would do if he got two offers. One is a very interesting and challenging offer and the buyer wants to pay 250 k. Two is a uninspired signature idea that has been done too much before but the buyer pays 5 mill. I'm sure there will be two or three that will do the 250 K one, but I bet the majority will do the 5 mill one. [edit] Till then, I'm not going to stop making sigs. I had a request for a sig that I'd be getting 1-2mill for, but I'm going to finish it and give it to the person who requested it for free. Why should no payment ruin the mind of all these artists? The majority of the signatures here aren't pieces of 'art', there's nothing attached to it, they're just empty, 9 out of 10 times they aren't even a display of skill. The only reason I ever made sigs runescape related for someone was so I could get enough RS gp to host my own competition and base it on artistic merit, now I have to do it another way...I'm sure they'll be quite a few, who wilst not depndant on the income, think it the only reason to make a great sig for others. If you make signatures just for the sheer pleasure of making digital art, you really shouldn't care that a source of income is gone. Personally, the majority of you (specially those who sell sigs for 1mil+) should have a bank account bigger than most players in the game. Anyhow, there is nothing stoping anyone from creating their own forum to replace TIF's media market. Half a minute on a free host and it's back again. If anyone really wants it, stop [bleep]ing and actively do something to get it back. I remember when for 5k youd get a really good signature, now the market is full of greedy people and those who cant make sigs for toffee but just want a piece of the cake.
