I agree with parts of both sides of the issue. I agree th F2P should have more things to do, but I also agree that, since we do not pay, we should not get as many rights as P2P. The only thing I really want (as a F2P player) is a couple more quests. I finished all of them and now have nothing useful and fun to do except PKing. I really don't care about another skill, because, quite frankly, "carpentry" just doesn't appeal to me that much.

Just a note on the knowledge base, it would be a lot harder for them to keep f2p people out of that, they would have to go through the whole process of making people log in.

 

 

 

The random event isn't that exciting and it seems they just give us the leftovers from p2p and stuff to keep us from cheating(becuase everyone knows that f2pers cheat, everyone of them)

 

 

 

They could at least give us some updates they give to the members, such as the champions guild basement, i personally really want to get challenged by a lvl 2 goblin

 

 

 

There are many updates they could do just to keep the game fresh for people, i admire what they did give us, but the fact that they only focus on members now is somewhat annoying. Also, going back to the advertisements, by me playing the game and having these banners on top of my screen, Jagex is making more then enough money to supply us some updates, remember, f2p is the backbone of runescape

By "shut them up", you actually mean that it will shut thw WHINERS up until they get to level 30, get bored, and decide they NEED a new quest.

 

 

 

I honestly don't know how people can try to tell us F2P NEEDS anything at all. The only updates they should get are game-balance ones.

How could you do this to us? ITs whiny people like you that ruin f2pers everywheres impression on the rest. I was overjoyed with the zombie gear, and I have spent hours just wandering about using my new emotes. how dare you make all the p2pers look farther down their noses at us, because you are unwilling to make do with what you get. Sure, I love free updates as much as the next guy, probably a fair bit more, but when we finally get something, you have the nerve to run to a forum and complain about how we don't get any new skills? Do you have any idea hard it is for Jagex to make a brand new skill? Members deserve to have an infinite amount more stuff than us, they pay for it, and we get it all for free. I have made comments about wanting more for f2p, but when you moan and whine right after we get something, it appals me. Please, please never make another topic about our 'lack' of updates, when you don't pay, you better thank when you gewt anything. I was exctastic about jagex letting us pick draynor cabbage again, for guthixs sake.

You have the right to talk freely with your friends unless they dont like you.

 

You have the right to play Runescape unless Jagex does not like you.

 

You can donate 5$ a month to Jagex so they can continue running the game.

 

You can click on any ads on the website that you see.

 

You can buy membership and use it.

 

You can do a lot of other stuff also unless they will get you banned or you are banned.

 

 

 

You can use the search feature here also. Infact the tip.it law requires you to use it.

im a previously playing member too. i dun tink we shld giv them quests and a new skill. im a F2P. yea. dun giv us any more hope pls. lolz. no way i gotta do another new quest and wait for a few yrs for another new quest to be begged from jagex. and no, wad would we be doin after we completed the new skill? wait for another one? no way. so dun giv hope to us. jagex shld let F2Ps be more deprived. tts wad happened to me. i got so deprived tt i went to be a member for 3 mths then went back. more deprived and became another for 1 mth. =)

 

 

 

F2P is as fun as it is. and no, dun complain. we hav wad we need to survive. we hav our F2P rares ( god armors ) and P2P only hav a couple of emotes more than us. wad more can we us for? and for mining and smithin, we hav the same rights as P2P cept for the mining spots. we can smith full rune as members do. who says we dont hav enough rights? go finish all ur skills be4 u start wanting more. if u guys get bored, quit runescape and come back again after some time.

 

 

 

we r lucky alr. if not, jagex would juz allow F2P be lvl 100s max and P2Ps be lvl 126 max. if not, jagex would giv us only 1mth of F2P then we will hav to pay. if not, jagex would not allow us to hav access to the new randoms. if not, jagex would not allow us F2Ps to own rares. wad more can we ask for? seriously. i hate to say this. i dun call others n00bs often. but yea. i tink i will puke when one day, jagex announces tt F2P is for 3 mths max only juz cauz some n00bs complained.

I think it would be good if we got 1 more quest but another skill is going over the top.

 

Actually get good lvls before u strt complaining about nothin to do.I think jagex givs us heaps to do ithout payin.

F2p is the full game of Runescape and p2p is the an expansion to the game. God, this thread doesn't even deserve wasting time on so I'm just going to click submit even though this post makes no sense so you probably should just ignore this post altogether because there is absolutely no sense in this post which will be sent when I click the button but if you are reading it it means I already clicked the button so what I said before will make no sense.

All in all Jagex needs to attract new customers to become members by giving the F2P a taste of a new skill and a reason to become a member!

Ok, so you want a reason to become a member, huh? Well, I would spend my time typing out a list of reasons, but there is absolutely no point, considering one has already been posted in this topic. Know where it is? It's here:

 

Alright so Jagex has come out with a few new skills over the course of my RS 'Career' (Slayer and Farming) and of course more things for P2P to do. These are both members skills and I am not a member. These skills do not appeal to me and i bet do not appeal to any other F2P when they look at the guides. And from what i hear Farming and Slaying are not even appealing to P2P.

 

 

 

What Jagex really needs to do is make at least 1 new F2P skill that's actually fun! For instance ive heard rumors of a carpentry skill ever since my noob days 2 years ago and that doesnt necessarily sound fun because what is there to do with a chair or table? It isnt like Fletching where you can actually use the arrows. Then theres summoning which has also been rumored to be released but theres a 0% chance of it being F2P though i think it would be really interesting to see in action!

 

 

 

F2P has gotten a bit boring doing the same things over and over and we really need new skills. For instance the highest level spell we can use is Fire Blast at Level 59!

 

And there we have it folks. This guy has clearly mentioned plenty of reasons for him to join members, but is he going to? No. He's going to come here and start yet another topic about how he wants more, for nothing.

 

 

 

You want incentive to become a member, dre011? Read your own post. There you have given plenty of reasons for you to join members.

 

Want to fletch? Become a member.

 

Want more spells? Become a member.

 

Want more skills? Become a member.

 

 

 

So why dont you stop complaining about free-players having 'no rights', stop whining that free-players should get more (for free, may I add), and use every reason that you yourself mentioned as motivation to join.

lol tony hawk you have a good point i never thought of it as a demo... my bros a member and he also says the F2P game is lacking and should be upgraded... were u not a non at one point of ur RS career? If so u would know that it is lacking skills and quests... All members at one point were nons and deep down u know that F2P isn't bearable after a year or so...

Of course that F2P is outdated... It is a trial, why should a trial expand? F2P is not the game by itself, it's just so that you can try it.

What level are you in f2p? if your lower than 95 then think again. Try living at moss giants for 4 week with no food stops killing them all the time your on. Farming may be boring but its a great skill for money and stuff. As for slayer, how do people get abbysal whips? useless? i think not...

if you f2pers were gratefull for what jagex gave you, MAYBE then jagex might consider giveing you some more updates. but seeing as greed is a amongst all humans (excludeing very very few), you won't.

 

 

 

i just can't see why f2pers aren't happy with what they have... i really can't. even greed has it's limits.
