March 17, 200620 yr http://albinoblacksheep.com/flash/lifecynical.php this really moved me , check it out, its about how war, bad people and everything else is tearing apart our country and more than just that kind of stuff, good soundtrack, good quotes, really moving i can assure you the link is safe this is on albinoblacksheep.com if you've ever been there You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."
March 17, 200620 yr I've watched that! :o If one likes that, one would really enjoy the movie 'Koyaanisqatsi'. Strangest movie ever, but incredibly profound. I love languages.J'adore les langues.ÃÆÃ

March 17, 200620 yr All it is, is a collection of quotes and photos by other people and a few other lines of prose. I dont really feel moved by it at all. Theres no context. March 17, 200620 yr I liked the part where he was talking about his dream, he has a really good point.. But unfortunately I doubt that 1 man by itself can just change all this. 99 Slayer since August 2007.

March 17, 200620 yr Yeah, you can find my comment(s) on this if you search for the other thread. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
March 17, 200620 yr anyways, this is my favourite quote from that movie. Ive tried to use it in a debate at school, but no one gets it.Thats because its not strictly true. Owned And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
March 18, 200620 yr I've seen that before...I don't see how it's cynical really...With quotes like "Can't we all just get along?"...Man that guy see's the worst in everything. And it seems sloppy, it's jumbled quotes and clips in no particular order...And then it goes to space and then I get confused and then...Yeah.
March 18, 200620 yr " the love of one country leads to the hate of another" - aliyaho pearce *sighs* I have posted this movie on the forums before... anyways, this is my favourite quote from that movie. Ive tried to use it in a debate at school, but no one gets it. Curse stupid people! :x I'm not sure that I "get it," either :? . Is he just saying that if one country loves something, another country hates them for having that love? Anyway, not a bad movie. I like how it's anti-war, not just anti-iraqi freedom. This guy is against all war, universally, everywhere. Nice view to have, although I personally find it a little simplistic. I think the US was right, for example, to join the war against Hitler. But that might be an argument for a different thread.
March 19, 200620 yr I agree with Merc. It's just not good. The strong images and the music go along well together, but other than that, the text the person made up is just stupid. Nothing goes together, and segways are just terrible. There doesn't seem to be any real point to it either, other than it just being a bunch of quotes and images pertaining to life in general. I saw this before and thought it was dumb. This time I stopped after the space thing because I just got annoyed with it. It says: "Space. It's a funny thing." "It's dark, it's cold, it's lonely." And? "But we all want out there. We all want to see it for ourselves." Sure, but those don't relate really. "We need to see to believe." Um...I can see space already... who says anyone doesn't believe in space? Or is this guy talking about somethign entirely different? "...all bring amazment to the eyes." Nice spelling. "But one question remains." One remains? No questions were asked in the first place. "Are we alone?" What's that have to do with anything??? It then went on to segway into scenes of destruction, and I just got irritated by it and closed it. Generally music and vivid images can make things seem a lot better and more powerful than they really are. This was just a bunch of randomness all pulled together and was pretty bad IMO.

March 20, 200620 yr I wasn't moved at all. I'm not sure why space and the cosmos was involved in it, there was no link to why it was there. You could tell which of the sentences were made by the writer as it lacked proper English grammar and punctuation, this, along with the general links with terrorism and space (how did that happen) tell me that this was created by a 13 - 15 year old American who must of seen a news broadcast which involved terrorism whilst listening to that Moby song which bought a bit of emotion into his/her mind. 99 Magic, 99 Defence, 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 99 Hitpoints, 99 Fletching, 99 Woodcutting, 99 Firemaking, 99 Thieving, 99 Ranged, 99 Prayer, 99 Cooking, 99 Fishing
