I_Love_Mods
Why flame? I mean... I know that half of these clan leaders can't spell worth a flip and that half of the people on this forum have no lives and/or are complete idiots, but why flame? Is there some thrill that I have failed to find? I tried it once. I hated it. What's the point? The moderators are going to delete it anyways. But the biggest question of all is: Why are we only not allowed to flame on internet forums? Everywhere else it's allowed.
Futurama
Cos the kids who flame are sat behind a monitor and keyboard safe in the knowledge that noone can batter the crap out of them no matter what they say. simple as.
Mercifull
mild intelligent flaming is allowed. the rule is in place to stop ppl getting immature and insulting people instead of constructing a good argument Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. jak722
Why? Cause stupidity costs alot of bandwidth! Rules[/url]":2wsbi6s6]6. Mild, intelligent flaming is allowable. However, pointless harassment aimed at a specific individual or group of people is not acceptable. It is not our intention to limit the poster's option to use occasional curse words to demonstrate a point. However pointless, excessive, or obscene cursing will be edited or deleted. I_Love_Mods
Was this about the rules? I'm talking about real life here, buddy. I know this is technically real life, but no one considers it that anymore. Why is flaming allowed outside of the internet? It happens at schools, in the workplace, and anywhere else that you can think of. I'm starting to wish that life was more like this forum.
Mercifull
Flaming is only an online term really. Outside in the real world arguments can take on many levels. It can be in the form of a frienly discussion, a heated debate or it could go right down the far line of bullying which is most certainly NOT acceptable in real life. I dont really understand your point? Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. I_Love_Mods
Well, of course you don't. You live in England. I live in the US. Bullying is accepted here. They discouraging it, but they don't do a damn thing about it. I'm moving from my country for many reasons. That would be one of them.

Scruffy5389
Bullying is accepted here?? No. No it isn't. It is not accepted anywhere in the world, but it is still common everywhere. Unfortunately I think you'll find that there are bullies in the UK, there are bullies worldwide, you're not going to escape them by leaving the US. Bullying is a part of the human condition. But it's not considered acceptable anywhere. EDIT: Purepehmo, that was unkind. There are better ways to make your point than that. :?

How2PK
Well sometimes you just get a bit angry because of somebody's stupidity, and you can't hold it anymore, so you just 'flame' him. Get over it, it's only healthy. Changing countries won't help your bullying problem. You've got bullies everywhere. You're naive, we don't live in the 60's anymore.
