Langer, it isn't just profits being reduced. It's the actual amount of pure essence in the game. Pure essence is being used 10x more than it is being mined. It's running out, sort of like an animal becoming extinct, hence the price rise.

We need a way where pure essence is more easily accessable.

And don't tell me to mine my own rofl, I might as well be woodcutting and making minimal profits in the time I waste mining essence 8-)

One may think "ok essences have risen, hopefully runes rise"

Natures remain at 300 each, Deaths remain at 280 each.

Actually, nats rose to around 400 gp each right after the pure essence update but they fell back to around 300 each and ess were going for around 55 gp each

But pure ess are very inflated now but there isn't a corresponding rise in nat prices to counter it :(

So basically nat crafters make around 100K less per hour now

To me it seems that there are plenty of members who don't mind picking flax, but somehow don't mine pure ess.

For every bow high alched, you need just as many bowstrings as nature runes, yet I never hear people complain about the supply of flax or bow strings.

it seems that the market is still fluctuating ever since the change in ess and it still isn't possible to predict how the runecrafting skill will change.

Buhuu my money making skill is now making 100k less profit per hour

aha. Well other skills, such as smithing havent been profitable in years. Cry about that.

I hated that big cash runecrafters were making, now its more fair compared to other skills.

Do smithers have to deal about getting pked? Losing all the pouches, having to search them again for an hour of the time?

Runecrafting is NOT that profitable if you use runners, or if you just walk back and forth(considering the time). You go into abyss, you get a skull and 0 pray, you have to deal with the pkers.

the essence update wasn't so bad, "there was a time" where auto'ers were ruining OUR game and getting OUR money.... there was a time where i would have had to pay 40 mill to get to 91 (fire runes) now it's about 10 mill...

looks like cosmic training will rise again....

it doesnt take high rc to make 2 of them, 56 is all you need....

Power RC'ing will still be viable if you choose the world 16 air running way...

I was looking at prices on official forums when my friend told me of price rise.

When someone posted buying all pure ess 75 ea, a seller came up with about 650k pure ess!!!! Has he been mining it and not sold it because he is busy getting his goal? No. He is a merchant and it is  that supplies of pure ess has run out already and its just merchants raising prices to easily make a huge sum of money.

i dont think you understand how things rise and fall, or who sets the prices of things. ok, so prices rose about 40 gp ea...well, with everyone wanting 94 magic these days...i wouldnt doubt it if the nature market would happen to rise to 340-350 gp ea...

You don't have to use the abyss. I did most of my nat making when there wasn't an abyss, or pouches for that matter. Just make nats the old fashioned way. Or laws. Mine ess yourself. Powercraft fire runes if you want to level. It was good enough for zezima. There is a multitude of solutions to your problems.

laws are better done if not using the abyss actually. Glory to Karamja, wear charos, take ship to sarim, then entrana, craft and them glory back. Its so much safer than abyss because you are not allowed to wear equip. Nats on the other hand is worth the risk because its faster by abyss and you can wear protective gear.

at 91 crafting, nats is still a very good way of money making, you just have to GET there, and its harder nowadays due to the increase in prices of pure, coupled with the downward price trends of airs (another good rc company, less loss, though slower)
