I think that they should be able to be lost, as in wildy. If you are skulled with 2 items and you used protect item, i think that the crown always be kept.

They are regular players for god sakes!!!! It would be the same as giving a lvl 3 newb a gold crown, regular people who play this game for a long time. Nothing else.

I think these players wouldn't care for the idea themselves, they are probably sick of the attention that they already get and wouldn't like the additional attention of a jewel encrusted crown.

Why waste the time? Wouldn't Jagex's valuable time be more wisely used to actually help the game, and everyone? Instead of just the top three?

To the topic, I'd say no. There's no reason for jagex to take the time programming an update for three people. They tend to not like to recognize the fact that they beat their game either.

no i do not think that they should get a crown just another status symbol in rs. they would not like it zezima already said he doesnot like the fame. And I do not think that just because they have been playing longer that they should get the fame. They did not beat the game they did not get max xp in everything yet. Jagex will not get the update 4 only 3 players. why what would they do with the crown if they are wearing a helm.

I completely disagree. I think that if they have the determination and take the time to achieve what they have achieved, they SHOULD get special privledges, even if that just means giving them a crown or something to show they are the top 3.

all though this may seem like a good idea, jagex stated that all though they are the highest ranked players, they are still just players of the game, therefore having no other signifficant that other fellow members of the game.

there a few problems with this

 

 

 

1.payer mods and staff will get mixed up with Zezima, N0valyfe, and The Old night

 

 

 

2. other players will fell like there left out

Everyone has pretty much covered the arguments why NOT to do this, but I'll just sum up my feelings on the issue.

 

 

 

First of all, it would confuse people, they would get the impression that they are Jagex staff seeing as how people even think player mods are Jagex staff leaving room for the players to abuse this power. Another point to think about is, do these top three (now four with Uloveme) actually want more attention in-game? I would think they want less attention since they can't even walk into a bank without being stormed by players. Finally, this would cause too much work for Jagex because players will flood them with messages to get their own crowns and speciality items. I don't think they want more work:P
