The reason why he posted the "old school" version of the Oompa Loompa is because he was trying to illustrate how the new movie is basically a fraud to the original storyline and movie that most people have seen as a child and is a happy memory. It's kind of like seeing the original Star Wars "A New Hope" movie and then seeing the "Digitally Remastered" version with a hundred more stormtroopers, more tie fighters, and more laser blasters. Sure it might look up-to-date but it doesn't really add anything to when you first saw the Republican Cruiser fly over your head being chased down by an Imperial Star Destroyer. Do not forget the power of Cult Fan Groups and Nostalgia. Not everyone wants a remastered version of the films they grew up with. Respect and understand the opinions of others and try not to attack them because they enjoyed something you did not.

May 26, 200620 yr I stopped neopets a couple of years ago. I still remember wasting all my cash on black pawkeet slots when I was quitting. Was about to kill all my cash when I got the jackpot. :x So, I donated all to the money tree. Lucky for the guy who got it!

May 26, 200620 yr Ahh, Neopets, that brings back memories. In fact, a friend I met while playing Neopets introduced me to Runescape. I'm not sure if I should hate him or thank him for that :P Anyway, it's hard to say if there's a connection between to the two creatures. As mentioned, sea snakes are real snakes that are highly venemous. However, you may consider the fact that both Jagex and Neopets are based in England :P

What's it matter to you what online games other people play? I am a Co-Leader of an adult-only guild on Neo, and I have to say, the community is much nicer on Neo than it is on RS,,,

The rules are VERY tight
May 26, 200620 yr If nothing comes from this thread, at least we know Whaka playes neopets hee hee hee. :lol: With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
