And i like Ska (Streetlight Manifesto & Reel Big Fish being favourites).

And I like you.

I thought Ghost, Ryan, and I were the only Ska fans here. That's awesome.

I am also a ska fan, I used to like LTJ before they got all pop-y, Reel Big Fish, Buck O Nine, Mustard Plug, Farse and Ska P.

The Killers? Alternative? You've got to be joking.

Isn't that their tagline, i would hate to call them indie, because they release music into the charts and have a record label, and doesn't indie mean independant?

And yeah Ska music is really good, I was searching through old posts for RBF and saw that Ghost went to a show once, must have been amazing.

What I was saying was the music The Killers produce is far from alternative. I see alternative as something that stands out; The Killers seem almost cookie-cutter.

Ahh man!

I know this is Off Topic but yeah! It was fantastic! And we are going to another show August 11th with RBF and Streetlight Manifesto. Hahaha, then another show June 5th with the Aquabats... you're totally jealous.

Yeah LTJ turned way too poppy, but Anthem is still one of my faovrite albums. Suburban Legends also used to be awesome, but they turned too poppy for me too. I hope all the Ska bands don't do it!

Post-rock, trip-hop, indie, rock. Anything in or between these categories really.

I doubt anyone will recognize that but even though I don't care much for the performer, the song is pretty funny. :D

I like a lot of ska and reggae, though I also tend to like some hardcore. Theres also some good indie bands that I give a listen to every now and then.

Okay, well I don't know what any of the sub-genres of metal are.

But do those include the growling for the vocals? :?

Death/Black metal for the most part do. But power and prog, ect. realy don't, infact have some very good vocals.

Power metal - Sonata arctica, hammerfall

Prog metal - Dream theater.
