the community these days...well is terrible or so it seems. i knew it was bad, im not here to claim my blindness to such things, but utter rediculousness of these people just gets to me.

 

 

 

 

 

for example does your day go like this? you get followed around? or someone asks you for free stuff? how bout constant pestering from people asking about a quest you, never did, did like the first week you were a member.

 

 

 

 

 

today, i go cut some of those magical logs in the elf forest. after a while a guy shows up(lvl 89) askin if i would buy his magic logs and i said no. i stopped talking because i was playing halo2 while cutting logs. like 5minutes later he calls me a nerd and asks me if i ever talk. i said something like i rarely talk to unintelligent people. he goes on this thing about how old i am and how im a nerd.

 

 

 

now heres where the lack of intelligence REALLY gets to me.

 

 

 

he says im at least 25, im not. i reply to him my age is voting age + but under drinking age of American laws.

 

 

 

he goes, so your like a college student, calls me a nerd says, you should be in college! nerd.

 

 

 

i can handle my fair share of annymous people trying to make them selves feel bigger then me or others on a game on the internet, however, when people take it the point where common sence is out the window i get a lil upset.

 

 

 

 

 

first, its sunday. i dont believe alot of colleges opperate on sundays. im not even sure if thats legal in america. im not going to say, sunday is like 100% no school, other then sunday school. but their are strange things in this country.

 

 

 

second of all, is this kid my parents? no... i bet he isnt even 15...what is it his concern? i dont believe it is his AT ALL, other then trying to offend me and clear me out of the woodcutting spot.

 

 

 

 

 

and then this kid goes into some rant about how he was hacked and all his stuff was stolen. and i questioned him if he is so smart, because obviously he had to point out that he was much more smarted then me. why he had lost his stuff. he even said "i had full verac, until i lost all my stuff". and i go how did you lose it? he said i didnt lose it... and he said he "lost" it like 2 lines above... wow.

Don't worry about it, happens to everyone just use some smart witted comeback (it seems you're quite smart) and let it me done with. If everyone posted stuff like this we could make quite an active forum...

Then ignore him, report him, or quit. Thats how little kids are. They need to be beaten but you cant do that over the internet, so they can just continue.

unfortunately the community is bound to be horrible because runescape is a game that some people use to escape the real world. Because of the freedom offered in the game people feel they can do whatever they want and since their not going to meet you in real life they can use you as an outlet for the frustration that they are feeling in their real lives...sad i know but not much you can do about it but click off public chat.

yep, the rs community is full of immature little kids that think there all cool. I turn chat off a lot, as they start to annoy me. I never go to f2p, because it seems that all f2p is is a breeding ground for noobs, not that all f2pers are noobs tho. Ive noticed an increase in member noobs also, and ever since world 9 became tip its homeworld, i avoided it. Not that tip it has noobs, but noobs folow the high lvs from tip it, to world 9.

 

 

 

Noobs are now everywhere, and most of them cant even spell a sentence correctly. Im only 15, but even im discusted in the behavior of some noobs. Infact i like scammers better then noobs, because infact it takes more brains to be a scammer then a noob. Noobs are worthless, and they should grow up.

Happens to all of us mate. For example I was doing the agility course in barbarian outpost, I fall in the water. Some guy says something like "haha" then calls me a noob. He then wants to race :roll:. Now I don't want to race and continue at my usual pace while he is cutting corners falling over himself in a desperate attempt to 'beat' me. I usually laugh it off but it is highly irritating when he is shouting "lapped" "lapped" at me.

 

 

 

Anyway your not the only one, you should have put chat block on though :)

All you do is just don't move or say a thing. They will get uninterested in you in about 2-3 minutes. Just do something to keep your account active like moving your mouse around. And trust me, the 2 minutes you waste doing this is less than the 10 minutes you'll waste arguing and debating with him.

if some low lvl comes up to me like that and annoys me i just challenge him to a dm and if he declines i can laugh at him even tho he'll prolly decline cuz im higher if some high lvl annoys me i challenge to a dm but onyl pirate sabers and if they cant get one ill get for them

The last 5 months have been pretty peaceful, but boring at the same time. I rarely leave wildy fire giants except when I need to buy more arrows. I've ranged here from 86 to 98 and I've got one more level to go before I can start on other goals.

I wonder what worlds you people play this game, but, I've rarely encountered such foolery within my tenure playing this game.

just ignore them, and if they still wont leave u alone, jagex implemented a button that does it for you.

I pretty much agree with that. Oh and...chage the "discusted" because it seenms like you actually care about how you spell. I wouldn't tell you if I knew you didnt care.

It's a bit stupid if you ask me, older people need to have entertainment too.. Just because they want to enjoy themselves means they have no life? It's just plain out stupid...

i must say that the rs world is much better than rl. :D

Doesnt bother me, when people are doing any of that I just ignore them, and if they are nice people I'm nice to them, I dont descriminate anybody due to theyre level as well, I have friends that are low lvl that i talk to all the time, if you beg me too much I'll probably remove you tho :wink:

Ahh the noobs i love them they always seem to run off if u outsmart them or such. To date i have made almost every noob that bothers me leave....

 

Exept a few weeks ago i got like quadrouple (did i spell that right), teamed by some noobs in f2p.

 

 

 

Ok so my friend wanted me to come meet someone on f2p.

 

Ughh good friend so i go to barbarian village on f2p

 

So i meet a few of my new favorite noobs, i have dubbed them "main noobs," anyway so i guess my friend wanted to show them she actually new me or something, (not that good so i dont know why), so im talking to them and one of them drops the sentance "yha well my main is better than u"

 

Ohh i loved it so i start argueing that he doesnt have one.

 

Well a little bit later, i think it was one of the other ppl there, this guy in full rune armour (g) comes up and is like oh what now didnt think i could back up what i said did ya

 

Ok i think this guy was lvl 70 and im standing there in D med, legs, and gloves, whip rune pl8, boots, and kite, glory, obby cape and i was lvl 90 so i start laughing at him so much and start explaining that his "main" really doesnt beat me :lol:

 

Being p2p i challenge him to a duel b4 i remmber im on f2p so i get laughed at whoops :oops:

 

then he is like your not so good u dont even got a decent pl8 so ha

 

So i laugh at him and explain that i sold a sara pl8 to get d legs a few days ago, I got Sara pl8, rune full helm (t), black d hide body, 28 laws, 26 lobbys from a clue it was super awsome but that another forum, so he and a few others start explaining that they can own me in cash anyday then lo and behold another sentance from the mouth of a noob "Yha well you are only better because you are some 40 yr old wierdo who plays for 8 hours a day like zezima"..."I beat your a girl playing a guy just like him"

 

Well thanks to the exlusive interview from zezima on tipit right here i was completely able to dispacht those few inacuracys about zezima but he still though i was what i just mentioned

 

since he was training on barbarians or something with his friends i start att them too which was a horrible idea because he laughed at me because i couldn't hit over 10 cause i was a def noob

 

so i laugh at him saying i cant really be a def noob im holding a whip its just that its a p2p item so it doesnt do anything on f2p

 

But by then it was to late cause they were all shouting random things on how i was a noob or on my sexuality or how i was in love with my friend, she is a girl so that contradicted what they said about my sexuality, and how im some wierdo.

 

there were so many things wrong i just kinda gave up and left them all with my last comment which i sometimes use for noobs that stay around and force me out, "If in balance there is life then u have no mind no strength and no life and im sry to have met u"....Yes i like Guthix....
