The_Valor Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 I have been cutting a few of the rare woods today, and whilst chopping away my friend Lord Soultar asked if he could take back the buckets and pots he had given me a few months before. Consenting to this request I went to Port Phat and took out the pots. I also wanted to show him the Teak and Mahogony I had aquired to show off a little ;) So i clicked 'Note' and withdrew 3000 Mahogony, and look what happens! .. NOW, presuming that this is not a bug, does anyone think (like I do) that this might be a method of Jagexs to stop people buying this new skill (presuming some more, that there is going to a new construction skill)? Open to discussion as usual :) EDIT Someone just mentioned that its not tradeable either ;0 Oohh -Valor - My skills are now really, really lame ! Well, could be that Jagex are trying to stop this skill being buyable. My guess is all the people seriously planning to level this (all the skillers) are going to cut 100K+ of these logs, for themselves (or as many as they can) during the build up to the new skill. ~Jimmie EDIT: Also, can i inquire whether or not you have to do the new Quest to be able to cut Teak and Mahogany there and bank it, or can you just do all the bits up to the point when you are on the island and do it? Teak could make the lower-levelled items in Construction, whereas Mahogany offers higher-levelled items. And I have 75 fletch and 80 wcing. o.o And most of my rune essence I mined myself. I'm like 67 mining and 44 rcing. Where can i cut these logs? :oops: Two places. Tai Bwo Wannai village. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. Now i got over 5k mahogony im getting Oaks and Teak, and 1k iron nd steel bars in case we need nails - My skills are now really, really lame !
