apinagez
What's up with all the cheering for Brazil? It's not like they did something very special. It was the Ausies who impressed and did something special! So shut up about Brazil and cheer for Australia! Go socceroos! Brazil have been doing something special for the past 50 years. Lots of people are supporting Brazil because the play the most attractive football out there, which was seen in parts of the game last night. It's how the game is meant to be played. Also, I don't think Australia deserved to score 3 times in 8 minutes on Japan. Someone who has watched Brazil playing can't possibly think Australia played a better football, all they did was to drive Japan to desperation by scoring on them a goal on the last minutes and then scoring 2 more goals on a "fainted" team. Brazil, even when losing the game, was obviously going to win. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me
Tokytoky3333
However the Czech Republic don't depend on just Koller.. they have one of the best keepers in the world (Cech), a former European player of the year (Nedved), a player with so much determination I would not believe (Rosiscky), and a handful of other players that I can't spell the names of so I won't try.. Shame about them going out though, really thought they could go all the way this year after their impressive shine in Euro 2004. Cech, yep great goalkeeper, but isn't going to give them any spark outfield. Nedved, good for experience but is 34 now and isn't the same player he used to be. Rosicky, yep great midfielder, but that's it a midfielder. Without Koller up front to aim for, they don't look like the team they used to be. Oh right I get what you mean... and it is true. I did personally expect better of the Czech Republic though regardless of the loss of Koller; against the USA they played a brilliant 85 minutes without him. I don't know what it is, but something keeps telling me you "own"?"When you're happy it's like you're a bird; you can fly. The only trouble is, you need other birds to fly with"

Personally, now that T&T are out, I will be cheering for Australia and Brazil Of course, but what is more special, Brazil who plays a good game. Or Australia going to the second round for the first time in history. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! How2PK
Another horrible desciosion by the ref. First an obvious handsball made by Ukraine, no penalty. Five minutes later a schwalbe by Schevschenko (sp?) and he gives the penalty. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! I expected Spain to win by a landslide but they played their reserves instead. Oh, and good thing the ref didn't give Torres a yellow card unlike what he did with the Saudi player for diving. :-$ :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

Five minutes later a schwalbe by Schevschenko (sp?) and he gives the penalty. Yep it was a penalty. You can see the defender accidently touching Schevschenko's leg which leads to tripping him up. But yeah, should have been a penalty for hand ball earlier to Tunisia.

His right feet touches his own lower part of the left leg, and that was the reason he fell. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! xJakex
Czechs deserve to go through more than Ghana, let's put it that way. Because they have more tradition? That's so ridiculous... Ghana played much better than many traditional teams, so did Ivory Coast. I didn't mean it like that. I meant the Czechs didn't deserve to go out. I'm all for the underdogs, in fact. Mr_Putter
30 pages, wow. I don't know very much at all about soccer, but I would say the final four are: Argentina Portugal Ukraine Spain I think that makes sence based on the options. If it doesn't let me know, I tried to work through the next 2 rounds out of a strange schedule that I could hardly understand. I like the way Spain plays; I think this is their year. Argentina! Oh no! And also Spain vs. France!!! (somewhat off topic:) Does anyone else have to listen to a commentator with an strong irish accent?
