I made my first mill at level 52. Merchanting iron.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Well, I made my first million pretty fast. I mined rune essence before the update, and got 10k for a start, then I started advancing my mining and smithing and got about 100k when i reached level 30 mining and smithing. I then invested on coal and iron, and began making steel bars. I practically spent all my money on them, but managed to gain a profit by selling steel bars. Got 500k in a month, and 1mill in 3-4 months. By that time, I had 40 mining and 41 smithing (if i remember correctly).

I'm a level 6 currently. -.-

not yet, but i could certainly get well over 1 mil with a bank sale. i currently have 500 wines of zammy (telegrabbed them all!) and 500 mith bars (mined/smithed them all!) and once i have 1k of ea, i'll sell them all for a quick 2 mil! Btw, i'm lvl 59 and f2p. \'

Lol, you all are gonna laugh at this...

Level 85 here (me, of course. Who else?) who never merchants and only makes money (at the moment... you may never know in the future) by killing monsters during training sessions and high alching the loot.

I've been doing this since I bought my full rune at level 60, and that was when I had about 25k... I think back in November or December of 2005.

I'm at 850k right now. Go me.

First week of members: Bought a r2hdr for herbs, then swapped it for 2 rune battles and 2 rune kites. Sold a kite for 2 squares and some other junk, then sold the other kite for enough to have my first million. I then traded one of the squares for the other half to the crystal key (I had gotten one half the very first hour of members big net fishing caskets). But the price to get drag ammys made was expensive and I couldnt afford it, not to mention the few people that were making never replied back.

I then did lost city, had no need for battle, and gave them to a friend on free.

Classic was tough times :( I spent most of the money I would get finishing a party hat set, with some extras for friends. The final Party hat I bought on classic was a pink hat for 200k and a dragstone ammy, which occurred right about the time when fishing guild appeared, because I made the trade in guild.

I dont think I had 1 million in coins again until the first few days of rs2, when my first login I went to fire giants, got a drag spear drop and traded for 10k coal and 1 mil :D

I can't remember when I made my first mil it was a very long time ago. I guess I was about level 80 or something. I think it was through mining coal because that's all I ever remember doing in RSClassic!
