I don't mind much for what they did because in a sense they were just keeping the prices down (all be it in a very greedy manner...) He mentioned in there that someone got away with it beacuse of alching drag sq's instead of selling partyhats. That guy was a little above the rest IMO :mrgreen:

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

June 21, 200620 yr I know that alot of people lost millions that day and others earned 100's of millions but i think that if it had,nt occured JaGEx could have been forced to delete all rares at a later time. Imagine what phat prices would be today. I've heard estimates saying that maybe ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâý, maybe 2/3 of all phats currently around are from that dupe. And also the ones duped phats mostly did it for the fun of it and not for their own personal gain. They could have billions bu just selling phats in limited amount and that way it would have been months before JaGEx would have found out. Btw, it took place on my 18 year b-day november 7, 2003. Cant remember exaactly what i was doing that day but i wasnt playing RS :wall: :wall: There is 10 kinds of people. Those who understands binary numbers and those who dont!

(because pink was the most valuable before the dupe). Maybe, but most likely just because of the population playing today, The amount of party hats in circulation:people is just a smaller percentage. So I doubt by now it'd make a huge difference, just because of the sheer amount of people playing the game now makes the difference very small(think a percentage of .01).. Plus blue was over 350 yesterday, if not more, so I doubt blues being 400M is far off :wink: Plus the phat prices went up pretty quickly after anyways, if anyone remembers(millions in days, and only a few months to get close to where they were) Oh and i can't forget 7) Andrew doesn't have sense of humor. I think he was trying to get at how we learn about the extremely tragic Halocaust is taught in school, so why can't we learn about such a minor event such as "The Dupe".
