ebuka
When we die, on runescape, we like drop stuff and bones. about the bones, i have 2 ideas that jaqex should probably consider. prayer exp gained when when burying a bone gotten from a player (after he died) should be based on the players combat lvl, for example. you kill a lvl 80, bury his/her bones and get 80 exp (somthing like that), that would be great. Another idea, bones should be given names so for example you kill ebuka1 and get "ebuka1's bones"! (imagine getting zezima's bones or any off the famous players bones, and then hang them in your house on the wall lol) feel free to post your thoughts, ideas and downsides. etc. EDIT: some of u guys cant be bothered to read some of my solutions, u just click on this topic and post ur thoughts, i recomend u look at these comments i made before u post. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ am sure thats the same way some people felt about contruction before it came out( most people wondered how everyone will have their own house) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ as for the codes, player lvls, etc they can all be registered in a mini-game, u register ur lvl, when u die, u release the bone with exp of ur registered lvl at that time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i think it will work best in a mini-game in the mini game the bones will be untradeable
blacksimon
hanging peoples bones on your wall? Dear god, i wouldn't want to run into you on a dark foggy night...
runescapeloser22
lol then u could really say "trading zezima's bones for a phat set!" thats a bad idea... it would probably upset the economy alot
sirjack
i like the idea about the combat lvl, but i think it would be too hard to incorporate the players name on the bones.... i find it quite satisfying to bury other players bones :)

Bloodveld
You know those parts of the POHs that take bones? Why not make them out of famous player bones? ;) :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! meb
This should be in the suggestions forum. Aside from that, I really like the idea and it would open a whole new market. Zezima's bones would be really rare, but that's a problem that could be solved easily with making them untradeable of course. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. ebuka
lol then u could really say "trading zezima's bones for a phat set!" thats a bad idea... it would probably upset the economy alot hm..probably make it untradeable or summat? can only be kept or displayed. and u can only get that kind of bone if they die in a certain type of place that can be created by jaqex
Kimberly
That's pretty clever, however I can see lots of abuse comming from that. Like a downside would be a level 125 could just stand in deep wildy, saying "FREE BONES FOR GREAT EXP" and then BAM!, beat the crap out of everyone who comes. It'd be a new way of luring. I wouldn't mind mounting some bones though, of those that you've fought in the duel arena or something. I do like the idea of "[playername]'s bones". And to keep it from upsetting the economy, they'd have to be untradeable, I think.

It'd be a new way of luring... that can be solved, players can only die and leave that special kind of bone in a place similar to duel arena, were if u die, u dont loose stuff, u just give out your bones hehe. Username012
if they set the item name as a variable, i suppose. $bones = $l_username . ' bones'; but there'd be trouble with stacking...it just wouldnt work.
qopitar
Maybe you could have the option to build a crypt in your house and fill it with your victims' bones (skulls). If Jagex is going to allow pking (virtual murder), then why not also allow collecting trophies from victims.
sykoknight
The idea of having bones examine as "username"'s bones has been around foreeeeever. People used to talk about it in RSC alot. However, ive never heard the part about having a seperate area for getting bones, or bone xp based on combat level. The only problems I see with it is coding. I dont know how its all done, but to have every playersbones examinewith their name sees like alot. Also to have a players bones exp equal their combat seems like alot of programming. And what would happen if you killed a lvl 86 today, but tomorrow he turns lvl 87 and you bury the bones the next day. Do you recieve 86, or 87 exp? I like the idea of them being untradable, that way it doesnt mess with the economy n stuff. Overall, I like the ideas, i just dont know how they could actually be put into the game. Sykoknight - 1900 skill total - 132+ combat Fighting High Scores from late 2001 - Ranked 1894Prayer High Scores from March 2002 - Ranked 749Ya, I've been around too long. glasscube
In theory it would work - however these bones would be untradable, or else you'd have someone famous going somewhere repetitedly just to get easy money. Help drive change Canada
rvdv_belgium
Nice idea, but I think they would have to make those bones UNtradeable, and if you dig them, they would give the normal xp bonus because otherwise you get this: You know a lvl 126, you ask him to go to duel arena where he would die all the time for you --> 126xp/bone do that tons of times, and you get tons of xp
Kashi
Big downside, any high lvl player could: A. Sit and kill himself, then ectofunctus his bones for massive xp.* B. Kill himself and sell his bones for massive GP. A more applies to anyone with a high combat lvl, B more applies to famous players. And rather than combat, the amount of xp for burying player's bones would have to be based on said player's prayer level. (would just make more sense) Imagine 500 xp a bone from burying yourself ... My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
Rose_2_Pure
Tombstones 8-) When you kill someone in the wilderness, you pick up their bones and make a tombstone to add to the PKing graveyard behind your house. Saying who killed who. Example: Lets say I kill Rose 2 Pure, who is an old friend of mine. I pick up his bones; "Rose 2 Pure's Bones". And go to my house, make a tombstone varying upon what my level is, and use the bones with the tombstone, and add this to a graveyard you can make at your house in the garden(s). Upon examining the tombstone it will say: "Here lies Rose 2 Pure, who was killed by Soldier Rose" or something similar. Rose P.S Some guy in suggestions said this idea so.. ebuka
the only downside now that i am trying to figure out is a solution to the one of, dieing intentionally to gain massive exp ok maybe making players bones to give the same exp as combat is a bad idea, and should be ruled out, i cant even seem to figure out how to combat th downside, oh well, jaqex will probably have a chance of combating the problem. (thats if i even tell them about the idea) :-k  :|
Rose_2_Pure
please read the previous posts before u post ur thoughts because i gave solutions to some of the downsides. which some of u are repeating the only downside now that i am trying to figure out is a solution to is the one of, dieing intentionally to gain massive exp No one else's post is anything like mine, one guy said make a crypt to put their skulls in. And the other guy said to make items in your house out of bones. YOU need to read previous posts before you post your thoughts, I already did.
