I know what you mean, when I was hacked I kinda laughed, and when I got banned two days after getting my account back I was laughing harder.... :lol:

Keep annoying them, they'll unmute you. My brother got muted 3 times, banned about 4, and muted again because he said he likes to touch little children, to a pmod. They'll unmute you if you keep bothering them.

Anyway personally I think it suld be 1 black mark and a warning especially considering that ronnyuk who above said he did pretty much the same thing and just got a black mark and learned his lesson.

You know what really annoys me though? The people who report you when you say something like that.

The reason so many people report you, is because Jagex state they take on people from their reporting ability, so people will report you for anything, I was in the fishing guild when I got reported I thought it was well sad that someone actually wanted to take 30 secs out of thier fishing to report me.

I fail to see the point in a permute, no matter the offense, it should be severe enough for a banning, or like a time period of mutedness, not a permanent one. Looks like jagex still want their money, which they're losing when they ban member accounts. What would you rather anyway, a permmute or a ban?

My 1st two characers (both mains of course) were banned for "Offensive Language" and since this was in 2000-02 (not sure) there wasnt a record of the convo given to me... But I never tried to bypass the word censor I just let it change my "bad" words into *'s, but thats offensive to some ;Q

It is very unfair. All this threads makes me scared of being banned.

 

 

 

By banning inicent people they are actually breaking a rule. "item scamming" by that I mean you pay them, then someone reports yuo for small mistake you get permenant ban.

 

 

 

This would be awful if you'd pay dollors for 3 years and being unfairly banned.

Being muted makes the game impossible. You can't buy sharks on low level fishing, can't buy prayer potions on low level herblore. You can't buy anything, because nobody knows what you want. :wall:

Keep badgering until the end of your current membership month, then terminate membership - no point paying them for an account that is only half usable.

Perm mute = ridiculous - if it was serious enough to be permanent (unless totting up prior black marks), then it should be serious enough to be a ban.

What the heck!? I've heard of overreacting but this is rediculous. That means no more offering trades, no more talking to people while mining. People might falsely report you for autoing when you can't respond. I'm mad!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:
