There is absolutely no age constrictions, that's part of what makes the game so fun! One day you can meet an 8 year old from Austrailia, the next a 30 year old from the Netherlands, and the next a 60 year old from england!

once someone asked my age, i say 15, once say "hahah u mst hve n0 lyfe!" i simply respond with "i'm sorry that i am not eight like you" then he said "im 14 nuuub" i say "then you must have a low IQ" and he chased me for an hour asking me "wut is IQ?" :wall:

lol, some younger immature players think that since people are high levels and that they are in high school/working they think they have no lifes other than runescape.

Well since I turned 17 a bit ago, I've gotten a few "Why are you playing a game for kids?" My few responses are...

 

 

 

"Well you wouldn't have this game if it wasn't from the Jagex team, who are all older than me yet enjoy the game as well."

 

 

 

"Go make a new account and look at the age groups you can choose, kiddo."

 

 

 

Sometimes I just ignore them or tell them I wasn't inside playing a game all day when I was 8, like you must be. But that's if I'm really angry at something or they keep bugging me.

 

 

 

And you're definetly not too old, because if you were, then I am, but I enjoy this game way too much to quit from "old" age!

My cousins and I all play runescape, we enjoy it, we probably wouldn't be as close as we are right now if we didn't play runescape, and time willing we'll all be playing runescape unil we're too old to click the mouse :D

No im 20. There is no 'too old' age for the game. What about the balance? its a clan for people 30+ and there are like 300 members in it .

 

 

 

I just remove people from my list that say 'you are too old' or someone is too old, i don't like people with a narrow minded attitude like that.

Who knows when one of your friends might be older than 60... :-k

I play runescape alot, and Its very funny how kids theese days (in every mmo) often say: "youre an adult that plays games, you have no life!" you have no life because you want to enjoy a game after a day of hard work? should i be depressed and work nonstop? will I have a life then?

20 here, I get that a lot too, but its not like age matters anyways, so I tend to ignore those fine individuals, since they are usually around 12 years old anyways.

I think even if 80-year olds *play* they're cool, I don't get what this "8 year olds are taking over Runescape" lark, I'm sure the 8 year olds won't nibble on Andrew's toes until they give him the deeds for Jagex 8-)

I don't understand why people my age (13) beleive older people can't play #-o You know I think it's that how pervert thing that their parents force into beleiving. I know I'm not stupid enough to hand out my details to someone i've never met other than msn. And because most of them are [developmentally delayed]ed losers who find the only option they have in RL is suicide they try to act differently just because it's a game. So now their just thinking of someone their age to "hook up with" and when they find their older they get pissed off and say all kinds of crap.

 

 

 

Also we get a lot of the little annyoing kids from miniclip. Those idiots had runescape at #1 for about a year. We've been #2 for quite along time too :? Jagex should ask minclip to get rid of it...although Jagex just wants customers... I myself started runescape through a friend. I think he found RS from miniclip. Does that make me a miniclip product (O_o)

All my friends played this and we all started when we were 11 in 5th grade...that was 5 years ago lol. Yeah, the thing I dont like is immature little kids comming in and "Z0mgzorz y0u r1ch! g1mm1e phr33 st00f pl0x?!?!?!" Also, I know a of a friend of mine whos dad plays...and he has 99 smithing! Theres proof age doesn't matter

I'm 20 and could care less about others opinions about adults playing games.

 

 

 

Infact majority of my levels are gained by the hour travelling each direction to get to and from my education institution 5 days a week.

 

 

 

You can live a life and still have time to relax and enjoy being young on the inside.
