It deosan't matter, just because someone maxed out there stats deosan't mean they beat runescape.

id like a stat reset even though i worked pretty hard for the stats i have now, sounds like fun..

No, i'm more for an all out item reset. When rsc switched to rs2 those of us playing rsc didn't have any items for a couple days because jagex switched all of our items to rs2. So all of the 99 smithers were pking with rune and you were like owning people if you had full mith lol it was the most fun i've had on runescape.

i would hate a stat recent caus all da ppl who have loads fo cash woudl just shoot up lvl, and we all kniow that zezima would probably stay top, hes just to good. also if they cleard all the banks it would be rubbish caus im terribel at making money, and although you can get lvls without cash, it takes alot longer, and think of all the prices!!!! a whip (it wuld take a while to get it uinto thae game) woudl cost 10 mill again, ive neva had that sort of cash!!!

yeah, I can see how when 5 people out of something like 2 million have maxed out their stats over a period of like 3 years then that means that pretty soon most people will -.-

you know, at first I thought, yeah-there's too many people getting the max skill total nowadays but then I also thought, don't other games have alot of people with max "skill total" in a sense? I'm guessing yes so then I think about Runescape and say that why are we whining? They deserve it, they got to the top and they should be able to keep it. A new skill is released every year so that also keeps them on their feet for a month or 2 for a new skill(except construction). Jagex needs to make skills which you cannot buy(they took the right route with farming by giving it times to grow crops, slayer by having assignments of creatures and runecrafting by giving minimal experience while allowing it to get you good money). Hope you guys can now see the light in a sense.

Yeah, I agree with the "can't buy your stats" statement. The next skill released should go something along the lines of this.

 

 

 

It's very easy to get experience in, so you get stats up quickly. However, all items that are introduced into the game are non-tradable, so you must get all items for yourself.

 

 

 

This would add a nice money drain, and would also make having 99 in the skill a real status symbol because you couldn't just buy your way to 99.

a whole 5 people out of how many hundred of thousands have maxed their stats? pretty soon most people WONT max out their stats. Of course there will be more and more down the line, but it takes years of INTENSE rs playing to even get close to that. Very very few people will ever reach this...Even say 200 people reach it over the next year, thats relatively nothing compared to the number of people who play rs. Its an extremely rare event for someone to max out eveyrhting.

interesting... before construction comes out 3 people have all their stats maxed. 2 months or so later 2 or the 3 former top players have maxed construction, and 3 players i had never heard of before have not only maxed construction, but all their other stats.

A stat reset would be horrible. Just think of all those people making pures with their old mains. You see Zezima one day at level 126, the next day he is level 74 with ancients and a whip at mage bank :shock:

 

 

 

Stat reset would probebly make me pretty mad since i do have some member stats that i PAID for, thus they wont stat reset since a lot of people have member stats.

A lot of people who have 99 in a skill have the extra xp to reach 100 if they changed it. If I remember correctly, it would be impossible or VERY difficult to change it anyway.

 

 

 

Anywho, gratz to the new maxed player and yay for stat-wipe, lol. RS3 (IF it ever comes) should allow you to reserve your name but have everything else start new. It would be a pain to try finding friends if they all switched names. :(

Easy? Those 5 players have been extremely dedicated and patient to get 99 in all skills.

 

5 out of 1mil+ active players have maxed out thier skills. That doesn't mean the game is easy.

I still consider Old to have max 99, seeing as how he can't level up anymore.

its getting easier, but its still insane to accomplish this. only 5 people in the 5 years runescape has been going on have accomplished this.

zez, divine god, uloveme, nova you would know if you looked on the high scores, cyrano you didnt hear about because he wasnt on top 21 since he didnt work on slayer AT ALL untill he got everything else at 99, then he worked on that and didnt start construction until he finished slayer. he worked fast at con, and got up there because everyone else had been working on all skills while he was leaving some at level 1 before moving on.
