I DONT CARE IF YOU HAVE ONLINE FRIENDS, i DONT care if you have real life friends that play it so that is the reason you play you, while you waste your time on a computer, that could be totaly gone in a second of a ban, or when the website goes, what will you do? Now some people play runescape for a little bit a day((meanning less than a hour)), and use that time efficiently, but if you can't find something to do in real life, and would rather choose a virtual game over real life.... you got problems. ukegbluebird Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Sometimes i feel like a bit of a nerd, i have been playing since april and i am lvl 92 combat, with 1375 total, which is alot of RC, and i think that unless i played the game i would call me a nerd cause i wouldnt understand gaming, the people i bother with in rl ( friends family etc ) are not the kind of people that would understand this type of thing and would certainly have a good laugh at me thats why i dont tell them :P, but then again i look back over my life (which is probably longer than most here) and i think dang, how could i ever be called a nerd and it kind of makes me feel better, i think :) But may i add, if you are between 16 and 21 then if you spend more than 2 hrs a day playing this game then you are really spending too much time online and you should be out getting mashed instead. \o/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ronnyuk Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 I started playing RS Dec 22nd 2005, and no one belives me hehe, but I do play +10 hrs a day, as i can play in work, i don't think i am a nerd lol but I like putting the effort into runescape, the benefits are great, and i doubt there are many players who have my combines stats after 6months. Except for the people above, its easy to tell I dont care if you guys say im jelous or immature or whatever but IMO if you have 99 in every stat you are a huge nerd. I bet 2005 till now zezima averaged around 6 hours a day. Or even more. If you play 5 hours or more a day consistently i consider you a nerd. Here come the people saying "omg your just jelous" but i could be like them too, if i didnt quit at all i would have been playing for 4 years and if i played 5 hours a day i could have a 1900+ skill total. Surely the point of a hobby is something you do repetitively during your spare time in order to relax or have fun? We all like runescape or we wouldn't be here. How can we insult people for enjoying Runescape more than the next guy, or for being more involved in it? ebe92 Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 depends on life and social time you spend in the real world. you just sit around on runescape all day instead of going out and talking to friends and family. i spend about 3 hours on a sunday and a saturday and only bout 2 hours weekdays. i prefer social time, but really depends if you spend every waking moment clicking away.
