Ive used them myself.. its like 1 in 20 chance of getting the special LOL. I guess it could help with pking, and because enchanted bolts are untradeable, you might be able to run back up and pick them up if you die. The new bolts might be fun for pking or monster hunting, but they'll never replace Crystal/Cannon as a standard for training.
