I think that after death you just stop existing, even if that's difficult to imagine. Or maybe you exist in another form, in which you won't remember a thing about your previous life. But I find it hard to believe in reincarnation. It's somehow too good to be true. Anyway the act of dying is more interesting than what happens afterwards imo. It's the last significant experience you're gonna be having, after all.

I'd like to think that I will go to heaven. I'm not sure what heaven is though. I think it just means peace and well not feeling anything must be peaceful (even though you couldn't feel the peace because you can't feel anything). I don't like the idea of an eternity, I imagine that I would get bored. To die now would really upset me (even though I couldn't feel upset) as I think I have so much more to live for. If I live to be 80+ though, death, as Dumbledore said, will just be my next great adventure.

That would seriously suck. One time I was sleeping and I randomly awoke and was thinking, " What the hell happens when you die? What if Heaven itself is just some lie, and there really isn't a heaven. I mean, how would we really know? everyone that's dead can't tell us if there is really a heaven or hell so there is now ay of figuring out, right?"

But try to think of just .. not existing. You wouldn't see darkness, because you wouldn't see anything. You wouldn't hear the silence, because you wouldn't hear anything. That is exactly the way I feel. I posted something similar to that in the religion test thread awhile back. I just cant see me being gone, all that I am, just poof gone and I wont even know it. It almost brought me to believing that I have a soul. I am anti-religious, so I dont have a god.. Sometimes I just think we are better off not knowing the truth.

That's quite true (as far as I believe) and I feel the same way about the slim chance that there might be a god. Although I don't see the point in commiting myself to a religion to ensure myself a place in heaven, because I'd gladly live my life as I please and rot in the depths of hell for it.

 

 

 

And I suppose it is hard to comprehend the whole not being alive thing, although I've gotten used to the fact that every moment we live we come a moment closer to death.. I guess the best way to describe death is once your brain shuts down all that is left of you is a corpse.. You don't have a soul that is flying around and angels aren't coming to get you. You're dead, nothing more..

I beleive with out a doubt that you will either go to heaven or hell.

 

 

 

You will go to heaven if you have asked Jesus for forgiveness, and you'll go to hell if you haven't. No if, ands, or buts about it. you don't just rot. you don't get reincarnated, you go to one place or the other in eternity. And another thing, some people think, even if I do go to Hell it'll be a big party w/ beer, music, and a party w/ the good ol boys. You won't be thinking that when your burning for ever, and ever, and ever. and if man made God, which they did not, who made us. was it some freak accident? look how perfectly made our world is. if it weren't for human sin, it would be a perfect place. And God isn't "mean" when He send's us to Hell. We choose. And it couldn't be simpler to escape that judgement.

 

And btw when the Bible say that Jesus is coming back for HIs apostles He means all christians, not just the 12 diciples. so don't say you don't beleive a part of the bible just because you don't understand it.
