August 10, 200619 yr I dont know wether this is new to you, but, as I was making my way to the pictorialis fishing colony to try and raise my fishing, I thought I would check out the surroundings. And, just to the west of the entrance, I found perhaps the best place to collect normal logs - for making into shafts (shafting  ) and collecting for planking and all the other things you can do with logs. I know that making shafts can get annoying - I use the trees to the west of varrock, and sometimes the ones to the North west of fally, but there are usualy quite a few others there, especialy at peek times. I think this spot is really good, even if you don't often need to cut normal logs if you are good enough to get in :)
August 10, 200619 yr Definitely not a bad spot... Also the Iron ore mining spot is not a bad location... its relatively close to the bank.... Im fishing with him right lol
August 10, 200619 yr Well there are a ton of trees but it is quite obscure in the location. You have to crawl and then open a gate just to get through. If you are just shafting and not banking, this is probably a great spot. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
August 10, 200619 yr i am still convinced bets place in the game for shatfing is draynor manor..... I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete. So, what is 1.111... equal to?10/9. Please don't continue.
August 10, 200619 yr Ussually when your shafting, your not banking. Also did you try cutting them. Those look like dead tree's and might give charcoal instead of logs. either way, it might be good for selling normal logs.
August 10, 200619 yr i am still convinced bets place in the game for shatfing is draynor manor..... But those trees chop you back  Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
August 10, 200619 yr Definitely not a bad spot... Also the Iron ore mining spot is not a bad location... its relatively close to the bank.... Im fishing with him right lol  where is the iron ore mining spot you say? :-w anyway, on topic, usually i would go to dranor manor for normal logs, but this looks like a good spot, i mite go there sometime :) Click here to see my blog.
August 10, 200619 yr i am still convinced bets place in the game for shatfing is draynor manor..... But those trees chop you back  Only 2 of 3 of them attempt to kill you. The rest are regular dead trees which can be chopped for normal logs. Just don't lose connection when you're standing beside a possessed tree. It hurts.
August 10, 200619 yr Pretty good spot :o . Oh, and everyone, please stop saying shafting, Aussy is ever watching... [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
August 10, 200619 yr Pretty good spot :o . Oh, and everyone, please stop saying shafting, Aussy is ever watching... why? whatever would Aussy have say to about the many meaning of "SHAFTING", aye? back on topic anyway: what iron place? oh is the swan song quest worth doing one small favour?

August 11, 200619 yr ...to the pictorialis fishing colony That's Picarous. And yeah, those do seem like good spots for normal logs and Iron ore. I personally use the Falador Dwarven Mines and the Seer's Village forest for Iron and Normal logs, respectively. Although I don't chop normal logs very much anymore. I'm either chopping Yews at Seer's Village monestary or Magics outside of Lletya. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
August 11, 200619 yr Cool. Don't like making shafts though. =\ Does anyone happen to know death_siren? She stole a green mask from me, and I think I found my way into her ignore list. If you know anything, please, don't hesitate to give me a pm.
August 11, 200619 yr Best place IMO is the wilderness  "I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute."-Paris Hilton
August 11, 200619 yr Best place IMO is the wilderness  Lol imagine getting a kill after some smart person had spent weeks there without banking. 1.5mil shafts ftw! I use the trees south east of the altar in seers. It has just enough in a loop that you can get a full inventory and cut without waiting for any to respawn... which isn't really a problem anyway. PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.Fire Cape - 04/29/06 Lvl 104RAHK's Pro PC Gear and Guide(clickable) Tired of hack and slash? FPSers getting old? August 11, 200619 yr Best place IMO is the wilderness  Arent alot of the trees in low lvl wilderness like uncuttable now tho?? Yeah, Jagex nerfed it when they updated the wilderness graphics... :(
August 11, 200619 yr ...to the pictorialis fishing colony That's Picarous. No, it's Piscatoris. Pwned. Anyway, I just cut them wherever I happen to be at the time. Forest just west of Lumbridge is massive and filled with normal trees. I mean ... just, whatever. Who cares? You can chop maybe 10 trees before the first one respawns. Any area with 10 or more trees near each other is just as convenient as the next. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
