If PC points were tradeable?

If PC points became tradeable how much you think they would be worth/how much would you be prepared to pay?

I know this would destroy the game as the rich and good players would become even better, increasing the gap better good players and noobs.

However what do you think?

5k per point maybe? It would be okay 250 points jesus that would take ages.

I got 500 in 3 days (Void top and bottom ftw. :-w ), and lemme tell you, 250 isn't hard at all.

I'd say around 3k per point. That sounds about right.

He's got a point (no pun intended). If you no-life for a day and play along side Affliction you can get a lot! I think the average for the group is 40points per hour so if you play for ten hours in one day you'll rack up 400 points. But that's if you're extremely dedicated to it and don't go on a losing streak.

I'm going to guess Chess played casually during those three days and took it a couple hours at a time. It's not that hard to gain the points and if you're looking for actual training, just be sure to use whichever skill you want to train in during Pest Control and you'll need even less tickets!

you can easily build up 60 or 70 in an hour. they would be around 3k each if you didnt factor in prayer. a prayer point is worth 2 or more d bones to the people seriously training it(level 80+). that'd make em about 5k each.

Yeah, only every single person who wants to buy prayer.

umm actually, no. nobody would pay 10k ea. prayer gives half the xp as the other stats. even at 98, thats 3 bones if you use the house technique. most people would be paying double the price of a bones just so they dont have to use them on their gilded altar in their house. no one would do that. think before you post.

Lol...

I'd have to say, maybe 4k-5kea. Of course we all know this would never happen :P .

I bet prices would be at 10kea at first, but as merchants withered the prices down and non merchant PC'ers fought over prices that it would drop to around 5kea, and about stabilize there. Most likely all point buying would go to Magic and Prayer experience (as it would almost be saving cash to buy the points) but people would be more inclined to get there own points in the other 'free' skill's.

Eh, the really rich guys would all be 126 though :P .

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Say, your combat is level 70.

Now to use the experience calculator

70x 70 / 6 = 816.67 xp. per point

When 100+ points = 816.67 x 1.10 = 898.33.33 xp per point

Rounded up .. 900 xp. per point

Then.. 1k points gives you 900.000 experience in a certain skill

That is:

a) hours of training

B) hours of training

c) hours of training

Now let us say that 900k experience at lvl 70 combat takes us 20 hours of training, which is about right.

How much can you earn in 20 hours of straight merchanting. I don't usualy merchant, but I can tell that a decent or even great merchant can make alot of cash.

Runecrafting for 20 hours gives us about 18k of nature runes.

18.000 x 300 = 5400000.. or 5.4M

5400000 / 1000 (points) = 5400 GP per point. Which is 5k which has been guessed by some people

Merchanting makes more money per hour then runecrafting. That is, if you are good at it. I am able to make 2x that much, although I don't as it is boring to me. That would say that a decent merchanter can put 10M xp in getting 1M experience aproximatly. (that is, if the points where even DOUBLE the calculated value for runecrafters.)

A partyhat would be.. 32M experience?? A Phat sets would mean combat maxed out?
