all the free players will leave because there is nothing exciting in f2p.

 

An since there is no f2p,no more new members coming through,Jagex starts to slowly lose money and then they go bankrupt.

 

How would they lose money, when even if all f2p players left, there's still the members paying, and some players start out as members(my friend did.)So it would kind of be the same, except less players/autoers, and a heaven for p2pers. :lol:

 

 

 

Oh, so your saying F2P is useless... Jagex still have to please F2P too.... Without F2P who will cut yew for member? Without F2P who would cut willow, log, oak, and etc to member...

 

 

 

Possiblity of shutting down Rs is when F2P all leave....

i think runescape would eventually die, like everything else... but that won't be until another few years... i don't know how it'll end, but when it does... we'll all be 126 combat already! hahaha!!! =D> :thumbsup: =D>

2: What Runescape lacks in graphics it gains in performance, stability and minimal use of resources. What World of Warcraft gains in graphics (which are still pretty blocky) it eats through your resources, crashes on occasion from outdated addons to no reason, the framerate is murder in crowded cities and I was the only real female member of a 70+ member guild. I also forgot to mention the VERY EXCRUCIATINGLY LONG maintenance time and the aftereffect of a hoard of bugs and lag that follow after one and an "update". :-k

 

 

 

3: Let's face it: Runescape is a free online game. The free version is a magnet to anybody who is looking to kill time; Its content is pretty moderate for a free online game and to emphasise there is no limit to how much one can play since it is free. Aside from that Runescape's member version is HUGE and all people have to pay to access those servers are a mere 5 dollars monthly (Where I live, I spend more buying a meal from Mc Donalds). The reason I left World of Warcraft was lack of non-combat content and I was spending too much when I didn't do anything, whereas Runescape is so cheap to keep a subscription I can keep it up even I take some breaks off it.

 

 

 

4: People are starting to leave WoW since the hype Blizzard built up is dusting off and the game is becoming a borefest. In one of their latest updates on the expansion they're releasing, they completely destroyed faction differences. If you're making an online RPG, don't screw up one of its main features. Jagex hasn't done this yet.

(I played WoW before I stopped in the summer because my membership expired right before I left for vacation. I was a level 26 Dwarf Hunter on Suramar realm. Yeah!)

Maybe another game-like runescape came out that give evrey member same benifit and the graphic is better.... so all the member and players leave... So there will be no more support...

I personally don't think it will end... There are over a million accounts, and thats quite a significant number... Judging on the people who have actually done something with their accounts say a 99 stat, I definately feel they will not quit and continue to play the next version (if there is one).

I actually know how RuneScape is going to end, unlike all of you people. Jagex is going to become a national programming company and have a building twice the size of the Twin Towers. Terrorists, knowing how much people depend on Jagex for the games, will crash airplanes into the Jagex Tower, killing millions, and destroying the hearts of billions of players. But, somehow we will all get closer from this tragedy, like last time... or will we?

Imo...jagex has to stop with these dumb updates(I know some of them arent dumb but a lot are) and start heading towards....Big graphic updates\better character security system(way way too many hackings and scams all the time). By new graphics though I dont mean stuff like the fally graphic Update. If they dont start doing these updates soon I can gauruntee people will leave to better games such as wow.

 

 

 

IMO, to stop/reduce scams there ought to be a 'Time Delay' at the second screen of trading, giving the person enough time to see if it is(nt) a scam, and if it is, stop the trade... They need to be harsher on Scams aswell - Just straight off ban F2pers, and in members give them MAXIMUM punishment (If not a ban)... This way people will realise ...

 

 

 

How will it end? :-k Personally i think people will eventually get fed up with the game/ outgrow it, look at Pokemon, thats a dieing breed - With the older players quitting, they're not telling sibling, younger player's of the game - Thus, they cannot join, and then bring more potential members into the game.

 

Why should f2p get harsher bans than p2p?

They'll probaly get drunk one day (Taito :P) and start deleting everything, and then start acting like it's homecoming night! :D
