You know, a great place to train range and the possiblilty to get a nice drop. I am currently at level 56 and not doing so well. What do i do when i get onto a world? I look at the people there killing the monsters, and if there aren't enough spawns for all of us then i world hop. Now i will say that there are a FEW players, that when they see me hallying kaliphites they nicely hop to a diferent server or they hop after i ask them and tell them that im doing slayer. Because i have run into those random people that think that: I am on a slayer task, everyone else can go to hell, and when i say im currently doing slayer they are very sorry and hop. But the mjority of people i meet have this aditude of " i have a combat lvl of 110 + and your only 65 i have every right to come on your world and take every kill and greedly snatch all that slayer xp with no consideration to your feallings or respect for fellow scapers." The spot that i have found this to happen most is at kaliphites and it is extreemly annoying to have to switch worlds (that i have been on for the last hour) to some lvl 100+ that has a fire cape and a super set. my question is how often to you take other people into consideration? i don't play psykick anymore... i play 2ed: "pure fett" 26081 to get 99 herblore Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ero Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 I had the same problem earlier, I was at fairy ring abyss, happily killing abyssals when a level 122 comes along and randomly just stole the one i was going to attack. He wouldn't leave, and being the stubborn person i am we ended up wasting an hour of our training fighting over abyssals and he ended up half killing every abyssal demon in the abyss. While i kept one and didn't let it get stolen and carried on killing. Eventually he got fed up of standing around not being able to kill any, and killed them all and logged. Mystical. Stereotyping is as bad as not being considerate :shame: I found the game on miniclip and have ALWAYS treated people with respect. That was ironic. I'm not taking sides, but using numb-nuts in a post about using correct spelling and grammar is not going to further your case. Keep the flame off of these boards, and onto the private message inbox. ON SUBJECT- The decline of runescape's loss of moral code and social posturing has started as soon as the game started. The fact of the matter is that runescape is widely availiable to a massive amount of people, and whenever you have something that large and that holds such a diverse large population is that people in the majority or minority will feel that they are the exclusive rights owners of a land/monster/exe. they think this because they were there first, and it is difficult to allow millions of players into the game (miniclip) and not be offended by a massive amount of people entering servers and gnrly tlkin lyk dis. Although it is wrong in most cases, it is terribly frustrating to see an exclusive community of P2P players get swarmed by a massive amount of people that really don't care about jagex's rules. To be quite frank, I don't care about spelling and grammar, as long as you can understand what they are saying. Not capitalizing a word does not hurt anyone and saves me a bit of time. I always ask people whether i can set the cannon up at the dagganoths, and i try to avoid using it in other popular training places like the black demons. His grammar was perfect, unlike a fair amount of people on this forum, he used no abbreviations, and had perfect punctiation. Your flaming simply because he missed a capitalization? Geez... Well, I'm sure it's annoying that some people are inconsiderate and half kill/take all the mons, but if you've ever had a run in with the DOA while at the Dag Kings, or a group of a-holes in general, you'll know that this stuff is nothing compared to what they do to control the lair. On topic: The bigger the population of Runescape, the more accurately it reflects the general levels of politeness in the real world. Perhaps people feel more free to be impolite online than in real life - but if that's the case, then all you're seeing is a more accurate reflection of their personality.
