mad4u689
I actually disagree that meth is unarguably bad. It can have dangerous consequences, certainly, including addiction - however, I think that since it primariy affects the individual in question, and not other people negatively, it's not necessarily a bad thing for oneself. There's very little that you can't argue over in the world :D Meth is disgusting. That is what it does to you. :-X (mods, if you feel that it is inappropriate go ahead an remove it) Alright, that's your judgement call. I've chosen not to do meth, myself. However, I still maintain that you should judge for yourself (which includes seeing what your friends do, admittedly!) and not judge other people's actions unnecessarily, if they're happy with it. And that doing meth is not unarguably bad. Everybody hug and spread the love :D
Guest XplsvBam
I jumped off a bridge because of peer pressure. Lol? If your not lying that is a true classic. Yea 80 feet high bridge, kid died jumping off the same bridge. Me=dumbass.
Make7upu101
I give a pardon to all early teenagers/middle schoolers that give in so easily to peer pressure (I certainly did). On the other hand I think that if you're still giving in pretty easily around 16-18 then theirs something wrong. Around this time I believe people start becoming more independent and have established their induviduality.
Mercifull
Sometimes but not often. If theres something I wanna do i'll do it regardless of peer pressure. On the other side if people were pressuring me into doing something i really didnt want to then there's no chance. How2PK
Yeah, pretty much. I really do sort of follow the philosophy that if a lot of other people are doing it, and enjoying it... it probably isn't so bad. Especially if they're people I respect (like my friends) :D Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Kashi
I don't give in to peer pressure because I have no peers. I'm in a class all my own. My uncle has done it for years...His teeth are all but gone...What he DOES have left are rotting and falling out...All his "friends" have the same thing going on...They look old as hell, too. One of my friends in school used to be all smart, good with the ladies, you know...Now he's this skinny creepy looking guy and he's just...Dumb. Talking to him is like talking to a 12 year old...Same with my uncle, who is 34. They just seem to have the intellect of a child when you talk to them. Also know a kid that was 300 pounds and now he's like 130 and his skin is all saggy...Looks creepy...I guess the "meth diet" is "good" for you, though, so maybe you've got me this time, batman! Pete_the_Viscous
The friends I have who ... "do" weed are actually the least likely of my friends to attempt to force someone to do something by peer pressure. I can't say that I've ever been pressurised by my peers to do anything I don't want to do (at least, nothing more serious than, say, taking the rubbish out). deviantart account
dusqi
I like to imagine that I don't give in to peer pressure. I don't do the 'bad' vices that are brought up straight away when most people consider peer pressure (drugs, etc.) I also try to be a bit weird, and this excuses me from much peer pressure, since people know that I'm weird and will do my own random thing. However, I'm still influenced by the opinions, actions and recommendations of others, as well as general trends in society and advertising. Whether this is peer pressure or not, I'm not sure. killersushipunk
my "peers" made me do... inapropriate stuff.... in the lunch room. You don't want to know. I used to have a link to my school's project to provide fresh water to a Kenyan Village, but the sig police changed the link to say something, which, if followed, leads to an "ahem" adult website. Let me ask you. Which do you think is worse?

ryoushinn
Nah, i don't. School's really frustrating, mostly because of all the people who like to gossip and backstab, and give you a bad time. But honestly could care less now. I used to be all self concious cause of some stoopid kids, but now i relize i shouldn't even care about other's problems. Boy, life is wonderful now. And when i get really pressured and stuff, i just calm down, talk to God, and i'm good. He's all I need.

issy2
It's kind of impossible not to, I mean we are all influenced by what is around us, just to different lengths. Personally I've never really been affected by peer pressure...I wear what I want, say what I want. While I'd like to fit in with others, which I generally do, I'd rather not bother if it means editing my personality.

assassin_696
Nope, never. In fact I have a natural inclination to bluntly say no to anything peer pressured. That's not to say i'm a clean living bore though, if there's something I want to do then i will do it, regardless of what other people say, but i've sat in smokey rooms with everyone but me smoking cannabis, and refused several times. If I don't want to do something, nothing will make me do it, especially not peer pressure. I'm a fairly healthy guy and would always say no to drugs, i wouldn't make my friends stop though, it's their life, but they don't have to drag me into it through peer pressure. So the short answer is no, peer pressure has no influence over me whatsoever. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

Not saying you were talking about smoking, but to all those who tell me life's too short so it's okay to take drugs, why make it shorter eh? Aijiru
I try to be as I want to be, not as someone else wants... what if i like to mix differents music styles or wear jeans with t-shirts instead of skirts? :-k As long as I don't hurt anyone, I don't care if any of my friends has differents opinions, as long they dont want me to do the same -.- Currently having a break from sig-making...Join the campaign for more F2P bank space!Avatar by Born2die, tyvm!
