i support but theres two questions i bring up, one thats already been adressed.

 

 

 

1) there definitle needs to be a toggle button, im near sighted and im sure several species of bat have better eyesight than me

 

 

 

2) Is it graphically possible? I mean just because we request things like this dosent mean there easy to program into the game. Cmon guys lets give a little credit to Jagex for the recent graphical and sound updates, im content with those for a while

 

 

 

Conclusion: i agree a lantern lighting a whole dungeon dosent exaclty amount to possible :notalk:

O yeah and thats the new Jagex's 'get members' slogan > Get p2p if u want to see something! cool.

A lot like area sounds, not necessary but adds a fun, realistic element. I definitely support.

i like the idea...tho it could get a little annoying like if something attacks you and you can't tell what it is b/c its in the dark....it is still a good idea that should be but probbly wont be put in the game

I preffer a more realistic runescape, i support.

It would definately add a creepy suspense to the game, but how much that is needed, I do not know.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think it would make pking more interesting, harder, but more interesting indeed, maybe sound indicators in dungeons, like, you can hear vibrations, much like the spy vs. merc mode in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, in which the mercs are able to hear loud, carelss spies with a vibration reticle.

I see what you mean, if anyones ever played Dark Alliance the lighting on that game is brilliant in the many caverns and such.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I dont think this should apply in houses because they would generally be lit by the sun assuming they have windows and its always daytime in runescape but the lumbridge celler looks very good how you edited it.

It's a good idea, but, with your lighting, you can't read your private messages! :wall: :wall:

Obviously your Private Messages would overlay the 'dark and shade' with the full contrast of it still.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, engine-wise, this would be hard (imo) for Jagex to implement, it is only Java you know...won't happen, trust me.
