Here are a few that bring back memories for me:

denis.jpg

Daredevil Denis for the BBC Micro, loaded off an audio cassette. One of the first games I really have memories of.

overdrive1.gif

Overdrive, the other of the first games I have memories of. Again for the BBC Micro.

arctic_adventure.gif

Another of my favourite early games; Arctic Adventure.

space_quest1_1.gif

The start of a great series of games; Space Quest. One phrase above all others was typed the most - "look controls".

Some of the other happiest gaming moments of my life, almost all of them brought to me by Apogee:

All of those screenshots are in their native resolution; that would be the image you saw, just stretched out to 14" or so.

I had the Sega Magadrive( aka Genesis ) when I was young, I loved playing it as a child. I also remember playing stuff like Mortal Kombat and Mario on Nintendo at my friends but unfortunatly I couldnt get a pic of those. I always liked the Megadrive better though, Megadrive ftw :D

That Alladin one flooded in funny memories. When I was like 5 or 6, the girl next door had Alladin, and my parents never allowed me to get a game system, at the time, so I pretended to be her friend to play her game system. I used to spend all day over there until my mom dragged me home. I feel so bad, she probably thought I was really her friend. I'm such a playa :D
