I swear, half of the Runescape population is considering suicide over this.

I aggree the forums here are awesome, only thing i dislike about thme over the official runescape forums, is the market place, its near impossible to sell/buy anything on here due to the fact people make a post then arent seen for a week.

 

 

 

Other than that i love these forums.

I know exactly what you mean, there are people posting all sorts of rubbish.

 

 

 

There is so much spam on the recent updates board it would take a week to moderate.

 

 

 

A lot of people like the new system, some are claiming that 50% of Runescape members are now going to quit. One person was saying that it is a pre-school update.

 

 

 

I can see a lot of frustrated moderators, with a soon to be short fuse.

I dont read the official forums for that reason only

Yeah but that's only because the official forums are a craphole :lol: Yeah but tip it's good...although I would like to know how a picture of Reggie with the words 'Taking names and kicking ass was offensive? And why so many pointless rants/threads are not locked (mainly the ones containing the word 'noob' in the title).

I fully agree. The moderators here do a fantastic job in keeping these boards clean and polite.

This topic has been made too many times i dont care if the runescape official forums is littered with spam and i dont care if this forum isnt, its life deal with it, there are [puncture]s and there arent.

climbing boots= no mage debonus

to be honest, even if the reaction is bad, not alot will be done because i doubt they have back saves of the system they are using which would mean alot of trying to re-make the old interface which would be almost imposible to get perfect.

 

 

 

I dnt mind the new interface though, the only thing that isnt so great is the run button. Not what it looks like but it used to be with the emotes and it is slightly confusing clicking in a different place.

I tend to stay away from the offical Rs forums for anything other than buying and selling because the average user seems to have a shared brain cell with the next ranter.

 

 

 

It frustrates me how ungrateful they are, and how they won't give anything a chance.

Yep, RuneScape official forums over the years has become more and more like the Neopets.com official forums. If you don't know what I mean, go there, and see for youself :lol: (Yeah.. I played that game like 6 years ago..)

 

 

 

I like games like CoH where the official forums are actually invision or somthing similar... it seems like whenever a company attempts their own forum system, the maturity level of that forum is like 50 IQ. Interesting correlation, there.

A lot more people visit the Runescape forums than tip.it, both probably still have the same percentage of idiots, its just that with the runescape forums having a significantly larger userbase overall it appears there are more idiots.
