I think these new updates are very good, beacuse it will help alot of players in the game. Also, it will help older players beacuse they will ot have as many beggers around them as before and there will not be as meny people begging for help with quests and so on. Very good update :) . Also, I like the new armours.

I think that the game is getting more easier to play for low levels.

 

When i first started I only have 25gp,bronze sword and other junk.

 

Now the new players get new armour and get told what to do.

 

 

 

This is what I mean if the players don't have to work as hard for it as we did then they won't appreciate it as much as we did.

So that is what the shields are. I logged in last night to see the new interface and the lumbridge bank. Today I logged in and I saw about 4 people in Fally bank with them in every world I go to. Are the stats about the same as iron like the arrows?

yeah, I noticed that the kite was very close to the CW armour. Luckily it's untradeable, but now why waste tickets on it when you can get the next best thing free of charge?

 

 

 

I just wish I could get the robes the prayer person has, and the rest of the armour set. (Maybe the advent of a new quest can solve this)

I have to say, I think this update was pretty nifty. All the higher levels won't be bugged HAOW DOO I DOO HTIS?!11 and all that. Plus it looks cool.

ok i did a lil research and found out the new sheid is equal to a wooden sheild

 

and the sword is equal to a bronze sword. its all on the website in the area guide for lumby

Yeah I think JaGex made it too easy for the beginner players. When most of us started, we had some junk, a bronze sword, wooden shield, and 25 gp. Now, they get arrows, runes, a cool looking (albiet, but still bad) weapon and shield. It's like the old values of the old days are dissapearing. Autoers are coming, the game is easier, pest control came out. Getting high levels isn't even hard anymore, if you have the right approach.

this let them know what to do and may increase the runescape population.

Actually it's as good as a bronze longsword and wooden shield, EXACTLY what we got when we came off tutorial island.

Well, we turned out alright, amassed great wealth, and are now more or less the core of the RuneScape economy...are you saying that perhaps if we were given our crummy items back when we died we would've turned out better maybe?

 

 

 

Not really, we probably would've turned out worse, thinking that whenever we happened to have the misfortune of dieing, we could just talk to some fancily-dressed NPC for our gear back...

I think itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s an excellent move on JagexÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s part. Remember when you died as a level 4/5 and struggled to get anything back? Its at that stage when a newb will decide ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅIÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m going to try even harder not to die, and enjoy the gameÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

if its lower than bronze, then they'll still have to work to get the good stuff, just like us. I got a training sheild, just 'cause it looked cool with silverlight

I only like the kite but the bow is awesome to, i'll just drop the sword :oops:

*snicker* yeah, I'm lvl 81 and got the melee training stuff; the tutor was like "You're a little big for these, but here you go anyway." Well, I thought it was amusing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I went talking to the fishing tutor about what should an advanced fisher do, and he gave me a small fishing net. A NET!!!! I dropped my net, um, over a year ago?

I used the armor and bows yesterday yesterday for a fun pk trip :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The training bow is nice for free ranged xp, although not too affective. I pick some up as I pass when woodcutting. Shoot down a couple spiders while I wait for lumby yews to respawn. When I'm almost full, I just destroy the bow, chop the last logs, and head back to bank.

It's did probalby just became so that the free armour noobs get at Lumbridge is white. It doesn't have anything with the white castle armour to do. Or so I think...
