--- BEFORE U READ --- If u don't know wat a dry record is. Its how long u can last witout getting a type of drop off a monster. Such as rune boots, whip, etc.

 

 

 

**UPDATE HERE** - This is my whip drop before today and i had a dragon scimmy! omg that means i had 95 90 95 stats lol so i did 95 -99 att and 90 -95 str and 95 -96 def till i got a whip. i think 116 cmb - 120 no whips lol :(

 

 

 

 

 

 

A question i asked myself over the past almost 3 months!

 

Am i really the only person who can have such bad luck in the game. I got 85 slayer and got 1 whip! got it on my 2nd abby task!

 

 

 

Then i hit 86 slayer i got another whip!

 

 

 

Then till this day they stopped! For the past almost 3 months i have achevied 86 - 91 slayer, and not till today did i finally get a whip drop, and not only 1 but 2!!! yes 2 finally!

 

 

 

After close to 3 months, over 20k abbys, prob 40+ abby tasks, i finally did it! w00t for me i hope the rest start to rush in like these did today :)

 

 

 

The question i ask u do i hold the "dry" record?

Your lucky you get drops. Best drop I got was a 2 parts of a crystal key with a week in-between. # yrs. and best drop is a crystal key :roll:

I had never had a drop 100k+ until I got my dragon med from a fire giant just recently. (June 2003- August 2006)

I have never gotten anything good AT ALL. The most expensive thing I got was a rune helm off a jelly.

 

 

 

Also, i have gone thru 6k tokens and can't get a bronze defender. And you think your life sucks... :shame:

I went from 86 to 89 without a whip drop, and then had one, and am now dry again :x But I think you definitely held the record there :)

10k bronze arows... and i had none rune meds last time i went to the lessers... i trough it was 1 at 50-100

I go on dry runs some times, if you look at my slayer blog the only rune item i got in the tasks ive done upto kurask is 1 rune med. Got rune longsword aswell from kurasks.

actually the best drop i have ever had are mystic gloves so technically my dry spell is the 4 years ive been playing

There will always be someone with a longer dry spell.

Went from 95-99 attack, 85-91 str, and 85-87 def without a single whip. I got one on my first day of 85 slay and never had one since.

Best I got is a triple drop from barrows, (Guthan Spear, Verac Brassard and Great Axe) and that was a week after a double drop from the chest....

thats it. my mate is still yet to get his first drag drop and has been palying as long as me.

I'm so glad you defined "dry record'! Perhaps because i'm a bit older that i was thinking of something totally different. And that's a kind of record you generally don't really want to have. :)

Looking at your stats, you prob didn't tackle too many high levelled monsters anyway, so your chances are much, much smaller, unless this is a second account or something to that effect.

 

 

 

I was very active in RSC, recently got back in RS2.

 

 

 

Ever since Drag Meds were dropped, I've only ever gotten one, and that was at Black Demons, approximately 3-4 years ago. I have NEVER gotten a Left Half shield, ever since they were released.

 

 

 

 

 

Don't really care much though, I'm lucky in that I have great friends to play RS with, and that's all I care about.

Well my longest dry spell is over 100 blue drags killed 3k plus iron arrows used and no lvl 3 clue. btw thats 7 days

i've killed about 40k+ dust devils and havn't gotten a chain yet (with ring of wealth)
