October 2, 200619 yr A lot of the reealy old timers joined on the 18, 19, and 20 of june 2004... Did they do a forum wipe that day or something? Was that the day the forums were created? Am i spamming? (i hope not) Does anyone know why?

October 2, 200619 yr Those were the first days TIF was open to the public. Tip.it had other forums before TIF, the Scapeboards. If I remember correctly there was one before the Scapeboards, but I wasn't around then, so I can't verify. EDIT: Just checked out my join date, apperantly I didn't join these forums till they were open a week. They probably came back up during a hiatus from RS, so I didn't check them out that much. Now I haven't played RS in years, but I go to the forums many more times a day :P

October 2, 200619 yr Before these forums there was Scapeboard, which was hosted by (I don't remember the name) a really crappy 3rd party forum hosting company. It wasn't directly under our control, we were hacked several times and had a ton of other troubles, so we finally got our own server, and set up these forums. Before Scapeboard there was evidently 3 or 4 other "temporary" forums, I wasn't really active on the site in those days, so I only vaguely remember 2 of them. But yeah, if you look, the 18th of june was the first day the forums were really open to the public, before that they were only open to staff-members. Everyone who joined before the 18th of June was a staff member at one time or another.

Loved the first week of TIF's reopening. I found out about it (somehow..) and went on a posting spree. Think I was averaging near 80 posts a day for a few days. Than I got warned for spaming :( . Ah well, glad to see the community has held on this long.

At least two before scapeboard (counting scapeboard as the board before it got the domain too). The ones hosted by Ruby and the original tip.it forums came before that. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

October 2, 200619 yr It feels so long since the old DK3 forums. Im was so glad when they went I hated them, they were so slow and those horrible board styles it had used to give me headaches. Hence why I was so quick to sign up on this incarnation of tip.it forums. October 3, 200619 yr good old scapeboard, I remember whenever I joined, it was right around when the smiley face sigs were really catching on and everyone had one. Someone fill me in on approximately when that was lol. I have been reduced to a lurker nowadays though...the forum has grown too large for my liking. :-k
