Well for some reason my school year ends a week later this year than normal. Not sure why, but it does. And because of that, our finals got all messed up and had to be spread out over the course of two weeks instead of one - extending things even longer! -shrug- But yes, usually my finals would be over by now.

 

 

 

And while the world itself is fine and just means "happily," I highly doubt that many people would recognize that. They'd simply see it as an attempt to bypass the censor. So it's technically not breaking any rules or anything, but I can see how some people would think that it is. So the choice is yours.

Well I'm leaving soon. It's my mother's birthday so we're all going out to dinner to celebrate. Not sure if I'll get on much more tonight, as I also have a final tomorrow. A couple more busy days coming up:

 

 

 

- Saturday a bunch of my friends are coming over for the whole day.

 

- Monday my sister and parents are having a party. They're forcing me to "socialize" :roll:

 

 

 

But after next Thursday, I'm officially free for the summer! Hoping to get 99 herblore done by the end of June. A very reasonable date, in my opinion. I'm also thinking of starting to log my daily experience. Just to keep myself on track.

Thanks for your input Dark! :thumbsup: Since herblore is so fast and I'm usually done with my two levels in 1-3 days, the options won't really be a huge difference from one another even if runecrafting does go under.

 

 

 

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these runecrafting autoers were "gold farmers." One time I saw five at once. They all entered the altar ~1 second after each other and followed in the same footsteps. They all paused for ~5 seconds after crafting, then carefully exited one after another. It continued in the same order every time. I then looked them up to find out that they all had almost the exact same amount of xp in agility, magic and runecrafting. These autoers usually either use the general store method or even faerie rings now (Dork and I followed like three faerie ring RCing autoers the other day, trying to get them to talk. Was kind of amusing, actually).

 

 

 

Yeah, that is a shame :( Especially since the two other skills I want to get out of the way are expensive ones. Prayer will cost me ~35m and farming probably upwards of 80m.

You can't stick to either of those options, if price is going down you have to make 10k increments and be ALWAYS selling nats. By doing this even if the price drop comes sooner than expected it will not hit you as hard as if you went crazy, made 200k nats and sold them only once you had them all done. I'm not a great fan of rcing but from what I've seen in other products from rs the drop is very slow at first but once it starts it can't be stopped. It doesn't have to be 10k increments, take in consideration how many is the average nat rune sale is, 10k was just a wild guess.

 

 

 

As we've seen on all other good money makes it seems that perhaps this summer will be the end of a stable market in runescape, which without a doubt will lead to a huge drop in the hours the average player spends on rs. So unless jagex gets serious this might me one of the last summers of rs, more than a summer it will be an autumn.

 

 

 

Maybe I'm being far too apocalyptic thinking that way about rs's economy but what we have in rs is a small capitalism, and every one knows about cyclic crisises :XD: But then again, maybe I'm just freaking out.

WCing - Nowhere near profitable enough for the kind of skilling I do.

 

Slayer - I'm sure that even if nature prices go down, slayer still probably wouldn't be as good as RCing. Slayer already isn't that good because the drop rate of whips is nowhere near as high as it used to be and whips are down to 1.5m a piece. Quite frankly, nothing even comes close to RCing right now.

Yeah and their numbers are increasing. I think nature runes will be fine for a couple more weeks/months and hopefully Jagex will take more drastic actions against them. Some of these autoers have insane RCing levels. One that Dork and I saw yesterday was just a few short levels from 91! :wall: Imagine lvl 91+ RCing autoers. Sheesh.

 

 

 

And it is true that if there were no RCing autoers, the skill would be fine even with 1k+ people at 91 or above. But these autoers greatly increase the supply of nature runes.

 

 

 

And actually, pure essence prices went up for a while. I haven't checked them recently, but they flew from 75 - 100 since RCing autoers came about. Because now there are a lot more people buying pure essence and the same amount of people getting it. So there's the same supply but more demand. That was a few weeks ago though, I haven't checked the prices recently.

So then people lower to 290ea. After a while everyone shifts to that price too, etc.. That's how these prices drop in the first place. In terms of the time-span I'm looking at, what you're saying is a tad over-thinking it. As I said in my first post, my statement is true, that the nature rune economy is slowly suffering from over production and under consumption. But in a one month time-frame, we won't see drastic results (from what I gather). I just exaggerated my little intro paragraph for the sake of a "dramatic effect" for my poll. The real reason I have my poll there is because I was debating what method to use just for regular personal preferences.

 

 

 

Once the nature rune economy does decline (if it does), then it would be a bad thing to hoard a lot of runes at once instead of selling them ASAP. But in terms of a one month time-frame, I doubt we'll see such drastic results.

Right now RCing is definitely still worth it. Prices are still hovering at 300ea. The only problem is that most people try to buy them for 280 - 295ea and they take ages to sell.

 

 

 

But we all saw what autoers did to fishing and woodcutting for a period of time. I just hope that Jagex is going to take care of these pesky runecrafting autoers as well. But like I said, it's not all because of autoers. There are about 1k+ people who are now making 2x the nats they normally do. And quite frankly, there's not a whole lot Jagex can do about that. And 91+ RCing is still a large number of peoples' #1 goal, so that number can and will only increase.

Instead of those two choices you provided, why not rc enough nats to buy enough supplies for 95 herblore, but don't get 95 herblore yet and continue to finish rcing. In this way, if nature runes fall to a too low price, you can always stop for a while and use those supplies you bought for 95 herblore and get that lvl? Hope it doesn't sound too complicated though :P
