North Korea would be an idiot to try and wage a nuclear war. One, America and it's allies would fight back. Probably screwing up the world because of the nuclear dust. America has a deterrant, if North Korea was to say drop a nuclear weapon on a major city such as let's say Dallas. America would come back in retaliation and drop a nuclear weapon onto Pyongyang or whatever. Actually we would probably retaliate with multiple explosions on North Korea, such as we did to Japan during World War II.

It is possible that NK wtih use the nuclear bomb, but not right now. It is mostly a bargaining chip because they are starving over there. Like I said, it's possible but not probable.

You totally misread what I said! :roll: And to answer your question... people are concerned that NK will "fire" at us as their country is run by a crazy evil-dictator who has close relations with Anti-American/Allied Countries (Iran) and are developing Nuclear Weapons. Put 2 and 2 together and you don't have a pretty situation. :wink:

I don't think that should be at the top of our list of worries. It would be supremely idiotic for Kim Jong Il to sell nuclear weapons to terrorists, because that would cause an international incident. Of all things, he shouldn't put North Korea into the spotlight for selling nukes to fundies. They're in enough trouble as it is.

 

 

 

The biggest concern we should have is that in the event of a war, it's South Korea that gets pounded with artillery and tactical nukes, because the North isn't likely to have any missiles with longer range. It'll be hell in SK before anyone even gets around to turning North Korea into one big, glowing crater.
