I have been playing rs for years and the best update ive ever seen its rly the graphic update... dam... rs always would need graphic update

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the past they couldnt do it, but now with the runescript thingy andrew do, now they can, so i wouldnt care if they take like 3 or more months of no updates just for concentrate all the jagex team on graphics updates :) (and obviously, all still in java format, as we love it)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ill second the notion. I loved RSC's cheesy graphics and I still do. I'd give just about anything to go back to RSC

the bankpage screenshot has the camera angle down to where the player is, maybe there will be an update where you can zoom in and look around better? :shock:

It's not false advertising, becuase nowhere does it say that those are in-game screenshots. Those are simply artist's renderings of aspects of the game they wish to show off. =;

2.) It Possibly Might be the new Graphics for RS2 since the Beta's First Appearance. And if it is it Wont Come out For Quite some time if they started working on it now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.) Its the new way they Present Screenshots for Things in runescape. (much like my first point)

Any old newb can get to jad, its been done on several lvl 60 chars.

I think they just designed it to make people get interested to try members. I doubt they'll update the graphics that much unless they make an rs 3, but I might be wrong. (No, they will not make rs3 anytime soon with all these weekly updates on rs2)

Actually, this is just stuff taken from the uncompressed version that jagex probably uses. If runescape looked like those pictures people with dialup couldnt play, and also it would lag a hell of a lot more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

its still not right that they use this uncompressed version for advertising...bad jagex! :shame:

Seems to me, a major graphic update is not far away, the images seem much more rounded out (unlike the square-ish now) the faces especially look better.

I remember a thread a while ago in which people thought that we were going to get a graphical update because of three images a few people found in the knowlage base. I'm pretty sure that was in the "what is runescape" section. However A J-mod in the official forums stated that they were just made for promotional services and were never going to be implimented in game. I imagine its the same thing here.

That's not false advertising, as they aren't saying that the game has that kind of graphics.

They've had banners on various pages in the knowledge base which have new versions of people, I'm pretty sure they will update them, but I hope they don't :(.
