What is....the mystery potion...

Ever since i could remember, this potion has been around serving NO purpose whatsoever, doing nothing to the game. It's tradable, dropped from an imp and obtained from the herblore guy in varrock...Discuss what it could be for. (i've been playing since summer of 04, i assume it has been around since beginning of rs2).

Nothing right now...and maybe nothing ever

Hehe, once the apothecary stopped giving them all the time, and sometimes it said that charity wasn't his strong point.

Some impatient people went on forums and began wondering if it was discontinued xP Hehe (I have some stocked up somewhere...just in case  U)

It has nothing to do with Prince Ali Rescue Quest, and in Romeo & Juliet the Apothecary gives you a special potion to use. This could just be some bored employee at Jagex who was working late and decided to just mess with all of us :XD:

Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

If anyone remembers, the Sophaneum people in the desert had spots... So I got bored one day, and grabbed one of those potions and took it there. I believe it said something like "This is our curse, don't cure it" or something.

Then again, I did do that around half a year ago, so my memory isn't to clear.

I thought you used it in MEP1 to clean the clothes from the mourner :-k . Maybe I'm wrong, I dunno :(

No, u hijack some soap from a druid to clean top, and u get an elf to clean the trousers. All the other parts r clean

we were given this privledge to get easy exp, everything has a cost.

It was useful in the early days of RSC, but now has lost all purpose.
