My dad and my brother are waiting in a car line at Game Stop right now. I really hope that they get one for my brothers sake because I know he will be pretty disapointed if he doesnt, even though I told him they will probably be sold out at most stores.

Well PS3 came out Thursday, and Wii came out today. So the rush to get the PS3 is basically over, and the Wii rush is still going on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I do wonder about the accuracy of it though. If less than 300,000 were sold this morning, that should mean there are a lot still out there, right? I wonder if I should go around today and see if I can find one somewhere...

I don't think anyone knows the true amount they had to sell in America, but i know this: They only ended up with 80,000 to Launch in Japan.

I thought it was closer to 200.000 in the US

If Sony were smart, they would've waited until they had millions of PS3s to sell. This way, those ebayers wouldn't make the profit; Sony would. All the ebay buyers would go to the store since the store would have supplies, and they wouldn't have to camp. But Sony is dumb.

Woot! Got my Wii 8 minutes after release, hand-delievered to us straight out of shipping at the local Wal-Mart. I was 6th in line and only waited like an hour (small town). Wii sports is sooo awesome, and everything works so smoothly! Now I just gotta go to town and pick up Zelda and Im set! =)))

We don't want to hear a single thing about the ps3 on it. And you keep comparing them, and saying how much you dislike the wii - even though you haven't tried it. I got a wii today. I've been playing it all day, and my parents are playing video games and are hooked on it just as much as my brother and I are. I honestly didn't expect them to have an interest, but they're playing a game of golf on wii sports right now against each other, and absolutely having a great time. I'd recommend this system to anyone and everyone. :)

I want a Wii solely for the new Zelda game. If there's still some left tomorrow, I think I'll get it. If there's none left and the next shipment is coming in after December 13th, I'll just get the Zelda game for Gamecube.
