Hmm I'm thinking of getting a second game, I'm thinking of either marvel or excite truck. Any ideas?

 

okay, first off it's launch time. Usually systems only have between half a dozen and twenty games at launch; the Wii has 62. Secondly, there are several good games out right now: Zelda, WiiSports, MonkeyBall, RedSteel, DragonballZ, NFL '07, heck even Trauma Center is a kick.

Yea, to me, those games you listed are all worthless, lol. But like I said, that's just *to me*. In my eyes, the Wii just has a punch of kiddie-styled games and they're pumping out more, which is lame.

Making it what, kiddy? Or you just couldn't get adjusted to the new style of controls and therefore decided it was just bad?

New consoles are way too expensive! i would rather wait till the demand goes down and they start selling for cheap..

250 isn't that expensive, considering so many electronics sell for so much more. Even psp was sold for around that much. It's only a little more than a regular ds.

Im pretty sure Ghost Recon 3 should count as a flagship for launch/

Awesome game, but isn't in the same league when someone says 'Halo 3' or 'Metal Gear Solid' or 'Zelda'

well i officially hate my mother....shes got this new vendetta against me my sister and dad because we dont do 'anything around the house', apart from always washing what we use and laying the table etc...

actually id already bought it with my own savings, she was just going to go to York to pick it up (30 mins drive from house). She just refused to go to york to get it

My dad stuck up for me, proving i do do a lot around the house and so she gave in and now we're all cool again, so all afternoon ive had a great console and good family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Btw, if you havent already got zelda, get it. The bit after the guy throws rocks at the bee hive is worth the 40 pounds in itself.

The only thing that is keeping me from buying a wii really, is that there is something bound 2 go wrong with it.

Yep, I've wasted about $20 of gas so far, and about 5 hours of my time. I'm going to get to the stores around 7:00 Sunday morning, since they open at 10:00 that will be three hours early. If I can't get one then I will probably also stop looking.

Man, first night was awesome. We invited some friends, and everybody just started playing. No getting used to or something, everything just went by itself. Did a quick look into Zelda, and the controls are pretty great. It's really easy. Although I'm having some trouble getting the fish. I don't realy get it, I'm afraid. :P Ah well, it will just take some practice. Got three days off for christmas, so that's when I'm going to do some serious Zelda. :D Boxing is my favorite on wii sports btw.

I had the same trouble with the fish. I've never been fishing before, so how was I supposed to know it was done like that? I'm still getting used to shaking the controller in a zelda game. Boxing's one of my favorite too although I'm not that great at it.

Internet channel is ok I guess. Hopefully java is enabled in the real version. Wiicade.com and blackalbinosheep have some games that use a mouse only in their wii section.
