A lot of it depends on what kind of people you hang out with and your community, if you live in a mostly asian community or have mostly asian friends then most of the people will want a Wii

I just want to say an observation i have seen. A few months ago when the name of the system was officially named the "wii" almost everyone hated it, and said they would always call it the revolution. Now everyone is calling git the wii (Event he news people around here are calling it the wii :P)

Even I think the Wii looks interesting but am I going to waste $250 on a console with very few if any adult games? Im not into sports games either.

I went to the local Wal-Mart, and got there at 10:00. There were 50 people in line, and while no managers would say how many units they were getting it looked as though they knew they weren't going to have enough. So I left, I'll have to wait a little while to get the Wii.

 

 

 

Yeah, my wal-mart had 30, and at 6:00pm I called and there were already 30 people in line for the midnight sale. My target's supposed to get 60 in tomorrow morning, so I'm just going to go there and hope I get one.

People have been waiting for days inside all of the 24-hour places that are sellign them in less than 5 minutes. I went to go hang out with my friends earlier today at Wal-Mart and the b.o. was incredible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm definetly getting one as fast as I can get another 20 bucks....currently at $250, but need money for tax :'(...

People payed $200 each for these wrist-bands that one store gave out to the first 17 people (only 17 Wii's at this location) that entitled you to get a Wii as long as you stay in the store until launch.

its almost 2 am here, and My mom and i just drove home from my work, and we decided to pass the wall mart. There were about 15 people in line. I guess the wii isn't as popular in Canada.

yay I got it, unpacking it right now. Theres this glass pentagon thing with a slot space in it. I don't know what it's for.

Yay just got back from a friend's house where we played Wii sports, because the Zelda shipment didn't come in :(

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The system is so awesome, every motion you make with the controller is followed perfectly. Golf in Wii Sports is great, I loved it, its so realistic. Now my buddy's and I aren't out of shape (we all run track) and after a few games of tennis we were actually getting kind of tired.

I waited in line for 5 hours(not too long, I know). I was person 23, they said they were guaranteed 29, they could only find 20. I got a Rain Check, which I guess is worth it, but I don't get to play until the next shipment.

It's already been pointed out, but the main reason why i buy multiplayer games is to be in the same room as other people.

I can't wait to get my hands on one. I had an invitation from Nintendo for a Wii night, you know, test the games, have all the nice food and drinks. But I didn't have time. :( My collegue went, and before he went he wasn't that interested in the Wii, he didn't think the concept was going to make it. But when he came back he was pretty enthousiastic about it. Not that he's gonna buy one though. He'll still get a PS3. But, it sucks that I had the chance to game on it, but I didn't have the time!! :'(
