I HATE religion in schools. I don't mind the work, but getting religion shoved down your throat in high school... ack.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

What? You ask us to specify what we don't like, yet you still just say that you just 'hate school'?

"What do you hate most about school?" - Why don't you answer then?

I personally hate my classmates. Basically I'm the only boy* on our class (I'm on drama class) and, well, everyone hates each other. So whatever you say, someone always shouts an annoying and useless -often very mean- comment to whatever you just said. Boys, you might think "OMG u gei, u dont laik that u r only boi??" but really, this isn't a enviroment that anyone would like to study with.

* there's 3 boys actually, but one just skips all the lessons he doesn't like [mostly everything] and well, the other boy no one has seen in 4 weeks.

Ugh. Saturday detention. :( I've only gotten it twice, but it is the worst method of torture ever devised by man.

I like school for the most part, but I find that (especially this year) I'm very stressed out alot and going to school everyday exhausts me. I come home and immediately go to sleep, and sometimes I can't do that because I have to go to work. My work isn't very difficult, but it does involve alot of focus, and that further exhausts me. I lead a very very busy life. No rest for me on the weekends either.

Ah. I agree with you. There are tons of ignorant people at my school who really get on my nerves. They're living that "fabulous" high school lifestyle, concerning themselves with fights, drama, rumors, and angst.

That's what I like so much about my school. It's a relatively small one, so everybody basically knows everybody. Nobody gets bullied, no fights - just a good atmosphere overall. Sure, we have our share of idiots, but they make like 1% of the entire school.

Yea, I hate tests and quiz's, if it weren't for tests, I would ace all my classes. But then again, I do see the advantage of tests and quiz's from time to time.

What I hated about school was how the teachers were unquestionable. They were right even when they were wrong and you must not question them. They were an absolute authority. Couple this with teachers who half the time didn't even have a degree in their subject and you have a recipe for disaster.

That is why I am happy about university. All the teachers have PhDs in their subjects, all of them have a lifelong love for their subjects and many of them (in my area at least) are involved with the development of cutting edge technologies and research. Only last week I was at a seminar presented by one of the developers of WiMAX - a metropolitan area network technology which should be becoming available in around 2009.

I could not agree more. Other then that factor I embrace school.

I swear either teachers should be teachers or they should not. No in between.

For example we have a mexican alien that subs sometimes, he does not even attempt to teach. Thank God. If he tried I would kill my self. (nothing againts mexican aliens just this certain person is hard to understand and is not educated enough to teach.)

Thank god I only have a few more months of highschool teachers.

Other then that highschool rocks.

School itself isnt too bad. But getting home and realizing that you have more school work to do is the worst part. Some of my classes dont need to have ANY homework. We could just get everything done in class, but the teacher talks about something for way too long and then gives us homework at the end. I really think homework could be shortened if teachers were a little more efficient.

But then again, if you dont get much homework your not going to be prepared for the amount of work you get outside of school in College.

I hate that our university professors are going on strike and I will have to write my exams at least one month after my last class.

To you I say: HAH!

We have to do that every year. Teaching finishes around the 8th of December, exams start around the 20th of January. Year in, year out. The same happens for the May/June exams, teaching finishes in April.

I'm not a fan of homework. I recognize its usefulness in certain cases, such as reading, writing, and reinforcing mathematical concepts, but oftentimes I have too much. I end up not getting as much rest and sleep as I need because I have so much homework, and because I'm exhausted, I don't learn as well.

I hate when my schooling interferes with my education.

Other than that, I love school.

Well I'm being positive. Chances are they strike into February and I lose my semester along with the money I have paid for it.
